You could mount the motors stationary and use reverse on one side & forward the other to steer like a tracks on an excavator or bobcat.. Lol😂

Did the motor one clockwise or the other one counter clockwise turning? If there are both of the motor that turned in same direction, did she went straight ahead.

Are 2 motors much faster than one? Surely you are limited by the hull speed?

It adds a tiny bit of speed. I did a set up like that and learned the hard way.
