@Mr Express there is no Pakistani classical music lol, sorry but it doesn't exist. Its simply Hindustani Classical Music which is centuries old and Pakistan didn't exist until 1947, and uses Sa Re Ga Ma Pa as notes (as Rahat did in this song). There is nothing unique about it.
@pmaster1173

@Hestia Athena The artists are definitely Pakistani, but style is NOT Pakistani classical, its HINDUSTANI classical. You can ask Rahat Himself why he uses Sa Re Ga Ma Pa during his aalap in the end of his song.
@pmaster1173
@pmaster1173 3 жыл бұрын
@Mr Express haha that is appallingly incorrect. Democratic India did not exist, but India itself very much existed, you can find reference to Bharat, Hindustan over centuries. Much like Germany, Japan etc are said to have centuries old history, even though governments and state borders and national borders were changed and political systems changed. Even under British control it was referred as India.

TRANSLATION !! (Afreen Afreen) We’ve never seen one with such beauty as she Hers is the beauty of the sculptured idols of Ajanta Her beauty has bewitched our gaze Her beauty is an alluring song Her beauty is a heady fragrance Hers is the beauty of scented moonlight Hers is the beauty of a haunting melody Hers is the beauty of a blossoming garden Hers is the beauty of the first light of dawn Hers is the most exquisitely hewn beauty Warm and smooth as sandalwood Pure and delicate as marble It is impossible to describe that beautiful beloved It is impossible to describe that beautiful beloved Praise to her Creator! Praise to her Creator! Praise to her Creator! Praise to her Creator! Whoever sees her must succumb to her spell Praise to her Creator! Praise to her Creator! Praise to her Creator! Praise to her Creator! It is impossible to describe that beautiful beloved It is impossible to describe that beautiful beloved I don’t know what enchantment your gaze wrought My heart became drawn to you irresistibly The bright dawn of my face, the dusky twilight of my tresses All that was mine is now devoted to you Your eyes met mine And ever since then a spell has been woven I feel that I have become beautiful Her face is fresh as a flower Is it her face in its brilliance or is it the moon itself? Her face is sheer poetry Her face has the beauty of the lotus flower Her face is an artist’s thought and also its translation Her face is both dream and realisation Her face is some magical tale Her face is both certainty and supposition Her face is like no other seen anywhere Splendidly luminous, dazzlingly radiant It is impossible to describe that beautiful beloved It is impossible to describe that beautiful beloved Praise to her Creator! Praise to her Creator! Praise to her Creator! Praise to her Creator! Whoever sees her must succumb to her spell Praise to her Creator! Praise to her Creator! Praise to her Creator! if a music takes life time to understand, such a music will be useless.. But that's not the case.. Higher you train means you can sing more that can touch anyone's heart. so to understanding music is natural to living beings. if you would have said that you need life time to sing like that probably could be right but not to understand.

Well done for the comment! I am a musician from Serbia and this type of music is close to us, mostly thanks to our Roma, who build their music on this style. These guys are limited both musically and intellectually and that's why they gave themselves the right to "imitate" the most virtuoso singer on the planet. The poor guy couldn't sing a single note even close to correct, and he thinks he was born to play music. I will try to forget this unpleasant experience.

Dear Beavis and Butt-head, really liked your little music in the beginning, but you f***ed up with the reaction. Try not to be so obnoxious in the future. And you probably didn't even know whose music you were reacting to. If you are not humble, music won't work out for you and your talent (and you obviously do have the potential) won't flourish. Just my two cents. Bye Beavis. Bye Butt-head.

In carnatic singing you are not allowed to do falsetto and I think it's a testament to the talent it takes, because you're conditioning your voice to not go to where it would naturally go when going high, you're finding the notes that can even be just as high without using the same technique

Any syllables that sound like sa, re, ga, ma, pa, dha, ni or sa are actually notes. So that's not him scatting random sounds, that's him being pitch perfect and saying exactly what notes he's singing while getting it perfect. He's singing the equivalent of do re mi fa so la ti do. So when the song ends he goes Ni sa ga ri ga ma ga, ma ga ri ni sa sa ma ga ma, Sa he's actually singing the equivalent of the do re mi notes each syllable is him saying what notes he's singing which makes it harder to actually nail those notes which is what he does.
