Her resonance, range, agility, flexibility and ease is just incredible. Sometimes as vocal coaches we tend to be super super picky about singers and technic even if we probably can't replicate what we just heard even if we tried. Is good to stay humble and be open to anything cause technic is super important but technic won't give yo talent or a beautiful tone. I love your reactions! Now you know Mori can sing, belt and whistle live. Lip syncing in the Philippines is very much frowned upon. Filipino pride, Lea Salonga who is a broadway superstar, Tony and Olivier awards winner, the singing voice of Mulan & Aladdin will drag you down for lipsyncing. She once said “Unless you’re on your death bed, I don’t have respect for that [lip-syncing].” So yeah, to establish a name as a singer in the Philippines you have to have the voice that is not auto-tuned because the standard in the local music industry has been set very high by the likes of Lea and Regine Velasquez to name a few.

I've just been fangirling on Morissette for the last couple of days. I've known of her for quite some already but I've only just recently dived into the Morissette rabbit hole and I've watched "Akin Ka Na Lang" reactions for literally 24 hours straight.
