Yes, and I can't think of many women at that stage of pregnancy who would choose to wear a dress so very short to a public formal function, especially knowing she was going to be sitting up on a dais at the audience's eye level, and televised. When you have a miscarriage, you have to go in for an emergency D&C so you don’t develop sepsis and die. My daughter had to have this at 11 weeks along. I think she is not telling the truth.

I’m so sorry your daughter lost her child by a miscarriage. Miscarriages are very real losses, and at 11 weeks, she was nearly three months along in her pregnancy. However, I must say that you are INCORRECT in stating that D &Cs are medically indicated in ALL cases of miscarriage. They are necessary in 50% of aIl miscarriages. I double-checked by going to legitimate medical web sites. According to an OB/GYN web site connected to the University of North Carolina -Chapel Hill Medical Center, a D &C is necessary in about 50% of miscarriages, one of medical indications being when the patient who miscarries is 10-12 weeks or more along in gestation at the time of the miscarriage. You state that your daughter was 11 weeks pregnant, close to the end of her first trimester of pregnancy. Thus, according to the standard of care, in her case, a D &C was medically indicated. According to the UNC-Chapel Hill, web site, other common indications for doing a D & C are 1.)if there are complications during the miscarriage or 2.)if the patient had a medical condition for which a D & C is medically indicated. Thus, if Meghan were less than 10 weeks along in her pregnancy and if her physician deemed after a thorough examination that her miscarriage was without complications, she probably wouldn’t have needed a D & C. We don’t know for sure how far along Meghan was in her second pregnancy as I don’t think she mentioned it in her NYT editorial, but I think it’s safe to assume her OB was following standard guidelines in treating her. Anyway, because you are incorrect in stating all miscarriages necessitate the patient’s undergoing D &Cs, then you are NOT correct in stating that Meghan was either faking her pregnancy/never was pregnant, IF you’re basing such a conclusion SOLELY on the assumption that she was discharged by her physician without undergoing a D & C procedure - IF we assume her miscarriage occurred before her tenth week of pregnancy and IF she was not suffering medical complications. I do think both Meghan (assuming she is being completely truthful about having a miscarriage) and absolutely your daughter were very wise to go to the hospital to be examined - if for no other reason than to check to make sure they had not suffered excessive blood loss. In your daughter’s case, her miscarriage occurred when she was nearly three months long in her pregnancy, and thus a D &C was definitely medically indicated. Again, I’m so sorry about your daughter’s miscarriage.

She would have written a book on it or done a show on Netflix. Edit to say I have a cat that is now a senior at 15 yrs old that I adopted from a foster family, for a shelter, when she was just 2 months old. It's important to note that our late Queen went out on a limb to set Meghan up for success. A title and patronages geared to her interests and supposed causes. Went to Sussex once, for 5 minutes, and gave no effort to even get involved or visit most of the patronages. She had no clue to what she had been handed and the real good that could be accomplished. She was offered help from many sources and said "Don't need it, I have Harry" (who actually seemed woefully ignorant of royal protocol). The Queen offered her the services of her favourite and most trusted equerry, Lt Col Twumasi-Ankrah, which Meghan refused because, allegedly, he was black. (Go figure). Two things that are not entirely normal about M when she's watching Adwoa is that she never, ever takes her eyes off her - most people will let their gaze wander, occasionally look away from the speaker, or look out at the audience or down at their hands, etc, as all the other panel members are doing. But M just stares at Adwoa the whole time she's speaking, like a predator watching its prey. And then there is the constant rapid blinking. It's very odd indeed, especially in combination. It's really noticeable how uncomfortable Adwoa is around M, she keeps turning away from her, and when M is speaking, Adwoa barely looks at her. And who wears a dress that short when you know you are going to be on a raised dais in front of an audience? Every time she moved her legs must have been a potential Sharon Stone moment. For a Royal representative at such a high-profile event, it was completely unsuitable, even if she hadn't also been heavily pregnant.
