The car is running a 393 SBC and it has a 2 speed power glide no lockups allowed in the class we run !

For sure mainly we play with timing on the engine to tame the power ! We are not allowed to use TC in the class we race tho .

@@McClureMotorsport just an observation. I went away and watched the twin turbo fueltech American door slammer world record holder run to see how much they stayed on the limiter. Very hard to tell but I’m guessing a 10th of a second. After watching the Sorcerers vale train on the spintron at EFI UNIVERSITY which was bending push rods and lots of other stuff you come to understand how violent mis fires can be. Reher- Morrison can tell which engines have hurt bearing before they open them up, just by watching them run and the driver. In no way am I criticising your team only trying to add another perspective to your problem. There is another top runner I’m aware of, that we believe has the same problem staying on the limiter for way to long bring about flattened bearings and blower belts going ballistic. 👍

@@rotory26 for sure , usually we aren’t on the 2 step for long at all but we had an issue with the car taking long to bump , we did rectify it for the last lap we made 👍
