Number one, use heat protectant! And you need to take smaller sections. With a flat iron there are many ways to curl you hair, it mostly depends on the length of each section. For your longer bits, you’re going to probably want to do a full turn with the flat iron, otherwise it’ll just fall within the first ten minutes. With the smaller sections, you can do a half turn or like a “c” motion where you kind of scoop the hair into the direction you want it to curl.

i love your hairstyle!! i have two ideas on how to add some variations to your rotation: think it would look super cute and fun to braid the long bits of your hair and curl the short bits out! you can also tie up the short parts into little ponytails (think misa amane from death note!)

use a curling iron on the long portions, and for the top section curl with the straightener at a vertical position and curl towards your face, run your fingers through it and fluff it a bit, it looks great girl!:)

hey babes, i like to take smaller chunks of hair in my shorter layers and curl some in and some flipped out to make a lot of texture. it’ll look closer to the girl you showed in the tiktok!! but you look absolutely gorgeous and cool with this hair, it’s just in your head ❤

not sure if anyone has said this but i think part of the hair problem is the thickness of your hair or the way the top is cut to look kind of thin. with the jellyfish hairstyle i think a thick “bowlcut” top and smaller braids on the bottom looks soooo cool, but the top to bottom ratio of your haircut i think is the issue. i would cut more off the bottom to thicken up the top so you have more to poof on top and have the extra on the bottom be thinner so its easier to curl or make into cute braids if you also like that styling

lol I mentioned it in the video but they usually are the references for modern day styles. It matters to y2k vintage appreciators like myself but I'm sure others don't care at all. As someone who only wears thrifted clothes, I take pride that I've accumulated vintage paper tags and not many fast fashion pieces. But, what's awesome too is that those paper tag items most of the time are in amazing condition so have that aspect of longevity compared to what fast fashion companies are producing!

I think that Danielle has a huge overconsumption problem. Constantly thrifting is not good regardless of the items being cheap. People need to realize that they don't always need to buy clothes to compensate for bad things going on in their life.

Girl I’m a part-time reseller. I feel like this video gives a small glimpse and insight into the reality of reselling. It’s NOT a cheap side gig and requires quite a bit of clothes too. I’m also not constantly thrifting. Last time I stepped into a thrift was a month ago to source for mystery bundles lol if you ever have questions or need clarification on assumptions you may have feel free to dm me but no need for unnecessary negative comments✨

And I noticed that in your closet cleanout, you had so many clothes that you don't even wear. At least you are reselling to ensure that your clothes are not ending up in your landfill. But it is people like you who are the reason that thrift store prices are doing up so much yet you always complain about them. It's not bad to admit that you have a problem.

@@lilli6872You realize the economy has changed in recent years, right? Some thrift stores already have outrageous prices and for the longest time. Thrifting has become more popular as well, but Danielle has been thrifting for years and isn't a part of this "problem" you're referring to. She records these videos, and they're not always immediately uploaded. It doesn't mean she goes everyday or week. A lot of people save their videos, so it may seem like they're constantly going but they're not.

@@smartokapi1903 Thrift store prices are literally going up because of the resellers and influencers who make it known that thrift stores sell for way less than the item is worth. And Thrift stores now know that resellers will buy their vintage and y2k items for way more than what they priced before. If you watch Twinelle's closet cleanout video you'll see that she has a ridiculous amount of clothes. Some of which she doesn't even wear.
