Pick simple things to start and you’ll build skills as you go then you start to feel more ambitious and try fail try fail, that’s the fun of the process even if it enrages you sometimes

i think all she needed was to be takin in a bit and adding a bit of a sleeve to the other side would have made it! and maybe adding a small fabric panel to cover the tummy! would have been perfect 💗🎀

Just use the zigzag stitch...I have been sewing for years even in school we never really used the serger on other than knitted fabrics.

Yeah I used a zigzag stitch and widen the length cause the lace and mesh kept messing up!! I was literally ready to throw my sewing machine against the wall!😤but I pull the elastic while sewing if that helps at all

@@meh9455 your sewing machine should have a button or a dial to adjust the space in between each stitch. A wider zigzag stitch will make it less tight.

i wish you cropped the top a bit more so it doesnt completely cover the top of the skirt because you lose the detail of the skirt waistband but you obviously look incredible regardless
