Turn off the background music. It is beyond me why KZfaq content creators think playing background music over their voice is somehow enhancing their videos, it is not, it is distracting. We came to hear you, not to fight background music which quickly becomes extremely annoying and intrusive. The music makes it difficult understanding you. Many folks have hearing difficulties, thus while concentrating on your voice they must also concentrate on tuning out the music; frustrating. Your background music ruins an otherwise exceptionally good presentation.

Thank you for the advice, I do this as a hobby and always appreciate constructive criticism! For me part of the reason I do music is due to some insecurities about the sound of my voice

Hi Rodrick I have both Twinings English Breakfast and Irish Breakfast tea and I find the English Breakfast as a hot tea much stronger and better as a hot beverage over the Irish. Having said that I find the Irish much lighter and actually makes amazing Ice tea😊. Another great Twinings breakfast tea is a tea in a blue box called Twinings Morning tea. It is full strength yet only three leaves so also very light. Very refreshing! Please try it and let me know what you think😏👍.

The cup on the right has less water in it. Not a fair comparison.

It's less than an ounce difference so that doesn't really affect it. Unfortunately my tea cups don't have a marker inside. In addition the visual difference can be from the camera position

Two questions from a noob (myself)... Is it proper or improper to "squeeze" the bag? Second, what about re-using the bag for a second cup (proper or improper)? THANKS for doing this video.

Squeezing the bag will give it a stronger taste but you're probably going to tear it if its not nylon. As for reusing the bag it won't be anywhere near as strong. If you are wondering for personal consumption I'd say it is dealers choice but I wouldn't do Either if serving a guest and I wouldn't "squeeze" it at a restaurant. Traditionally most enthusiasts I've met prefer loose leaf teas but those are a whole different thing

@@rodricksrecipes4238 I quit coffee back on Jan 1st and switched to tea. Finally got tired of how the caffeine spike from Coffee made me feel. Tea gets the job done, but I am still learning. I recently used up the last of the teabags in the pantry and am now switching over to loose leaf. I came across your channel trying to learn more about the differences. I don't think I see that you did a Prince of Wales in your Tea Room yet. Something to possibly consider. I am going to get that after this first batch of loose leaf is gone. Cheers!

I drink both English and Irish. The English is dark and strong but the Irish is very strong. Malty. Dark red. I only drink these in the morning for work. Either just plain or with a small dose of sugar. Keeps me going. At afternoon i drink the Earl grey. I heard the English/Irish tea was for the working class. Why its stronger. I couldnt imagine how they drank this and ate a full English breakfast. I would be full before going to work. Haha.

I hardly ever eat breakfast these days so I'm with you there. I almost always drink tea plain though unless I'm trying something more culturally prepared

Irish Breakfast would typically be stronger and maltier than English Breakfast. The fact that you found it the other way around suggests that it’s because you got the “extra bold” variant of the English. One more comment is that both Irish and English Breakfast are blended on the assumption that milk will be added.

Good to know! I typically don't like anything in my tea. I would assume Scottish breakfast would be a similar case?

@@rodricksrecipes4238 I’ve never had Scottish so I can’t say. I should clarify too that when I say Irish Breakfast, I’m referring to blends actually produced here in Ireland rather than those produced by British companies. A good example of an authentic Irish Breakfast tea is Barry’s Master Blend from Cork City.

Vanilla chai! But also matcha latte and thai style milk tea are also tasty! But most of the time I like my tea as it is with no milk lemon or sweetener. I would say avoid milk in citrus teas though

Brewing tea in the cup, using a tea bag is not the correct way. Always use loose tea and brewed in a teapot.

It's important to consider context and that people do things differently. I'm reviewing store bought bagged teas and In this context comparing 2 different ones. What you're talking about is how to enjoy a tea out of a seasoned pot which is also nice but not the goal of the video which is to introduce people to different flavors of tea and give my opinions of them

The tra SNOBS drive me nuts.I have both loose leaf teas AND tbags because I buy a lot of my teas on sale.I wish people would stop tripping over petty ass things
