Nothing against all the other sisters but Twinkie has and will always be my favorite Clarke sister. She was always just genuinely kind to me and respected my musicianship. Even so, one year, while at our International Annual Church of God in Christ Holy Convocation, she knew that I read sheet music as well as I play by ear and gave me the opportunity to play Handel's Messiah's " And the Glory of the Lord" during the Official Day Sunday morning worship. I shall never forget that day. Thank you Twinkie and the late Dr. Mattie Moss Clark.

Right! Karen definitely patterned herself after Twinkie, but the oil isn't the same. I'm not saying Karen sings out of self/flesh; however, it is natural and instinctive with Twinkie. You know it's a heavy anointing. God bless her for sacrificing to carry it because most would've quit.

Dr. Clark!! She knows how to flow in the spirit. Not to compare, but she's the mastermind of the sisters. You can definitely hear each sister in her voice. Each of them have her style, tone, dynamics or or her over all versatility. But despite all of that, she still is the reigning goat!

She isn’t caught up in riffs and runs but she can get down when she wants to.
