The premise is based off of sonic X actually. Eggman using a chaos emerald to test the limits of its power, only for something to gp horribly wrong. Eggman rolls with the punches however and attempts to conquer the paradigm.

Actually sonic x would have been placed between the advanced games and sonic adventure, emerl was in sonic x but returned as gemerl in sonic advanced 3, so they are connected to an extent.

Composed by Hideaki Kobayashi, but... Something interesting I noticed: Kobayashi may be the original composer, but this arpeggio that's playing throughout the entire theme screams Sonic Colors for me. My guess is that Tomoya Ohtani arranged this act. (He's credited in this game, so I'm sure he's only an arranger.)

@@jamizzle77 What about Fumie Kumatani? She was in this game too, and even Masaru Setsumaru. Advance 3 is like Sonic 3 & Knuckles, where various composers arranged acts, and so it's difficult to guess arrangers. advance and Advance 2 was a lot easier.

I forgot how cool the second act sounds lol Is there a golden rule in this game that say act 2 has to be a banger? Like act 2 of sunset hill, cyber track, chaos angel and this are probably all in my top 10 tracks of the game x)

I disagree on Sunset Hill, Act 2 is pretty weak in my opinion compared to the amazing Act 1 and Act 3.
