So to answer everyone’s question, YES YOU CAN STREAM MUSIC AFTER YOU PAIR IT. You have to tap the “Disc Aux” button twice on the stereo, and the screen will display “bt”. Then you can stream.

It’s stupid that the owners manual says that you can but you really can’t there’s not even a update for it or a option to add it so the why Is It in the car

You need to install the telematics module from another car. I got mine at the junkyard for $5. I am still working out the other wiring that is needed to get things working. Once all that is in, you either need to take it to someone who has the software to add the module to the cars programming, or like I did and get the appCar software and add the module yourself.

Get a new car lol if it says not available there's no way of changing that Just because you have all the Buttons Does it mean you have uconnect Usually if you hit the phone button it will tell you if it's available or not

@@samperkins4637 how? My 08 patriot doesn't have an aux input and I can only get uconnect to do phone calls. But when on a call, I can hear my navigation or music on the background but goes away as soon as I hang up. I got it to work once where it displayed my phone's name on the radio but can't do it again.

You might have to do voice training first. That was my problem until I did that. If I remember right, you can hold down on the button with a person's mouth on it ... that will force it to voice train.

+Kamali Gilbert You are getting that message because the system is not equipped with a Bluetooth module and that buttons are there so one has the option of adding the module later on in the vehicles life if they choose to. You would have to contact a local dealer to have the module installed.
