These were a lot more surprising than I was expecting so I decided to upload all the overworld raid bosses (except crab king which is a stalemate without some intervention)

ok I tested it and yeah they actually don't aggro on each other without forcing it, they will likely be separated and either the pieces won't upgrade or they will despawn

Imagine you are Wagstaff and you detect that the celestial champion has been defeated so you go over there to see what happened and you see that a big freaking eye is just standing there looking at the corpse.

Only issue is the only night availablity, the fight will end pre emptively unless you activate the lunar storm

what made them powerful in terraria is the fact that they are chained melee and ranged attacks to make it so the player has to pick one or the other the fact you can separate them is sad I want at least a small link between them that you can break

I bet the Twins of Terror are going to become the cheese META in Lights-Out worlds when it comes to fighting raid bosses, as you can have them beat up every raid boss and just collect the spoils by finishing off the one victorious. Now, this is what I call Gorhanzolla. xD

They got impressively close though. If anything, they made him as soft as a tree guard. After all that punishment you could kill him no problem.

Nah, it's about design. The fire could be done as an area around the boss, but not a lot of range, while the lasers could have range but one can side step them easily. The timing could even be an Easter egg of sorts, with the bosses having an animation of them firing *up* as if they were looking for the Terrarian, who fights them in the air.

I can see this being patched in the future. Probably by giving the twins a lower PvE modifier so they don't just rip and tear.

Twins in DST: Run in circles you'll live Twins in Terraria: They'll surprise you out of nowhere, you won't be prepared, and they shoot lasers and fire. On the second phase, they shoot even MORE lasers and fire!

I'm really dissapointed how Klei literally took their iconic attacks away. Retinazer doesn't shoot lazers, Spazmatism doesn't breath fire, they're just Eyes of Ctuhulu

Wow. This game barely resembles the game I originally bought. Meaning Don't Starve to be fair, not Don't Starve Together, which came ages later. I bought DS when it was very early in development, before they introduced seasons, before most of the enemies, before the other playable characters to be honest. I stopped playing for a while when they introduced the spider queen update, with my thinking being that if I waited a good while and let Klei put in some new monsters and gameplay mechanics, then it would feel like I was coming back to a new game when I finally decided to play it again. A few years later I gave it a go, and honestly, I just feel lost each time I try it now. Either DS or DST, they are so huge, deep, complex and clever, I just can't seem to live past a couple of in-game weeks any more. Probably because I still play it how I did when I first bought the game, which is mostly the opposite way you should go about trying to "not starve" in the game now. I still have to tip my proverbial hat to Klei. One of the best developers out there, and one of the very few who prove that early access can be done right, and that when it IS done right, it can be amazing.

And not any bosses , they can kill some of the toughest bosses of the game like the celestial champion , the ancient fuel weaver , the dragon fly even enraged , the twins are true killers , imagine if they had the cursed fire and the lasers

It spawns in in every world, even the old ones. It normally spawns in forests too so that might help.

How viable is this in a non-Lights Out world? Could they beat Dragonfly in one night? Youd probably have to do it in Winter for the longest nights. I play casually with my sister and wanted to look into using the Terrarium to take out bosses but I don't know what steps you'd need to take, so if anyone can give me a step-by-step guide I'd appreciate it.

if you enrage the twins beforehand in a previous night you can at the very least massively damage any boss even with regular night length most of the year I think

Haven't tried it myself yet, but might be worth enraging the twins the night before you fight bee queen and they just might be able to do it in a single night if not lower bee queen enough to solo easily. Prolly try it during a long winter night to give them a higher success rate of killing in one night
