This is 100% live. You can tell from the sound. Compare it to the studio version. No computers needed.

What makes Stevie so great, is that he could play every instrument on that stage. He also wrote 95% of his music. He, like Prince, and MJ, often laid down several voice tracks to his songs. Then he would teach the parts to his people. Ray Charles could do this as well.❤❤

A genius! Talented beyond words. Stevie started playing when he was 7 but created his first song at the age of 11.

The studio version with the horns is classic. He's a musician's musician. Stevie in concert is AMAZING. After the show people are smiling, laughing, crying, singing together, reveling in the experience. The man is a genius ❤❤❤

I've been a Stevie fan for over 50 years. Saw him live in Toronto a few years ago. No one could sit down. Fabulous concert.

I was on the national monument grounds on January 15, 1981 in DC the year Stevie led a rally in an effort to see the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr's birthday declared a national holiday. The bill was signed into law, reluctantly, by Reagan in 1983, but it was not realized until 1986. It took nearly 20 years to make this happen. Wonder also spoke at my Howard University graduation May 13, 1978.

More Stevie! ☺If the spirit moves ya, take a listen to "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" next. Another deep dive you'll love is Sly & the Family Stone. The song "Dance to the Music" brings back great memories from back in my clubbing days. Picture a crowd of goths, headbangers and ravers...then "Dance to the Music" comes on. The sound of combat boots pounding on the floor was INSANE. The mosh pit went MENTAL. 😄The DJ said he was taking a chance playing this one, hoping the crowd would take to it. And dang, it worked! It became a crowd favorite.

Now THIS is what I’m talking about, not that Bieber nonsense. Check out the studio version of this song and its even better. I’d live to see you go down a Stevie rabbit hole, there are so many great songs. Please start with “I Wish” next. I fully expect to see you boys up and dancing to that one. Lol. ❤

One thing that was great is that you could go to a regular bar and they have live night and you would see these great artists and never know it. I was underage at the time but we always knew how to sneak in to these bars. It was great. I saw most of the bands you twins are reviewing from the 70s and 80s

I completely agree with you! In 1974 I was in a Toronto bar (Colonial Tavern) and Rush was playing. Nothing better than sipping on a beer & listening to Rush for free.

I;ve seen Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Billy Joel, The Who, the Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin live. Guys, I love your videos but PLEASE the first time you check out a song listen to the studio version THEN the live version. Stevie is a sheer genius son writer and musician, definite goat. The other thing is WEAR HEADPHONES. For example, many Beatles songs are enhanced enormously by the mix.of instruments and overdubs. ok that's my lecture for today LOL. Check out Jackson Browne's "Song for Adam" and "The Pretender." And Elton's epic Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding from Yellow Brick Road. Also I WANT YOU/She's so Heavy from Abbey Road Beatles.

Stevie played most of the instruments ( Hohner Clavinet, drums, Moog bass) on the studio track for Superstition in addition to the lead vocals. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superstition_(song)

I've seen many reaction videos about Metallica, and even people who have never listened to them, said Disposable Heroes is the best metal song they've ever heard. Try it out. It's on the Master of Puppets album. You will love it. Love your Vids. Stay strong my friends!!

You need to find a better video to this. The backup singer doing her thing is actually done by horns. The girls are good, but the actual instruments are fantastic.

Motown was a sound not a genre. This is R&B. Which encompasses a multitude of sounds. Many misappropriate R&B into Pop.
