Yes, you can certainly vacuum seal your corn. Just give it a quick blanch and let it cool and drop into a vacuum seal bag. Will freeze perfectly. I vacuum a whole lot of things. Love my vacuum sealer. Nothing better than sweet summer corn in the middle of winter. My family is from New Jersey and I was born there but we moved south to Florida when I was very young but I have always heard about how good Jersery corn AND Jersey tomatoes are. I'm going to see if I can order some and have it sent to me. Love your videos and your beautiful family. Keep up the good work!!

Hi Barton family. The girls loved todays meal and as usual I wish I were eating the same. It looks delicious! Family meal time will always be special to Anna & Guin. They enjoy the talks, the laughs, and the yummy meal. I appreciate that the girls were taught to at least try new foods knowing they don’t have to eat it if they don’t want to (and often surprising themselves realizing they do like it). You sure know how to parent. Kudos to the family heads.

As a gardener You can take corn on the cob and freeze right in there shucks and when ready to eat remove shucks and cook as normal will be almost as good as fresh picked. You can vacume seal or just normal freezer bags or even a Walmart bag if You plan to use it with in a few months. You won't be sorry, and Guin won't be telling Us it's bad corn😂😂. Those precious dolls are the best.

I remember being in the grocery store and a mother had her toddler strapped in the seat of the cart. The little boy was talking up a storm with everyone they were near and all of a sudden he "tooted '. He was saying as he threw his hand over his mouth " my butt burped. Excuse me ''. I believe everyone that was within ear shot was going to die laughing including myself. Listening to Walt singing the " beans, beans the more you eat song" and then Gwen burping brought back that memory. Kids say the darnest things. 😂

My second favorite way to have is to make corn on the cob, cooked, butter it and vacuum seal it and freeze it. Then either heat it up in boiling water or microwave. Fresh corn freezes well.

Such a joy to see the twins thoroughly enjoying their "unspicy" corn - that crunch was spectacular! How unusual to hear that the farmer successfully runs his corn stand on the honor system in this day in age. Hearing that restores my faith in the true goodness of some people. Guinevere was going to town on those baked beans. I loved how she scooped up every bit of bean sauce with her signature "backwards fingered scoop" - so funny! Anastasia really loved that tender pulled pork which really did seem to melt in her tiny mouth, especially when she shoveled in such an adult-sized bite - LOL!!! All in all, this meal earned 👍👍 and made for one delightful video that I give ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!!! 🥰💜💝🌽🌽🌽🌽

My husband vacuum seals our corn with a few pats of butter, and we put in a pot of boiling water and when it comes to a boils again cook a few minutes more and it tastes like you just picked

The trust system, we call an honesty box here in the U.K. We used to get our eggs from a local home with an honesty box when we lived in the same village as them. Unfortunately there are still the fair share of thieves who take advantage of these kind gestures. Also, a lady who grew veg plants in the village would always leave surplus plants on her front wall for people to help themselves to. I do miss the wee country village life at times. The girls are fair tucking into their corn! Love that! x

We had large gardens growing up on the farm. My momma did a lot of canning and storing food for the winter. One way she saved corn was she boiled the corn, let it cool down and put them in ziplock storage bags. She then put them in the freezer. The corn kept it's taste and crispness. She also pickled corn in a big churn.
