Ya, but get rid of Atkins first. No need to give the guy that failed at this rebuild to try again. He got squat in returns the last time he blew up the Jays.

Why is anybody surprised? Shapiro and Atkins produced Cleveland teams that were “good, aaaalmost there, but never ever winners”, and they have, very predictably, produced exactly the same thing in Toronto

i promise you that if EVERYONE aside from the players in the jays’ organization - from coaching staff to ownership - was fired and replaced, this team would be a world series contender. i say this as an o’s fan; they get in their own damn way more often than not. they’re the baltimore ravens of the mlb (the football fans know what i’m talking about there)

Now is the time to move Vladdy then dump Shapiro and Atkins,Schneider and Walker.Let the next g/m pick his own coaches and team leader.The Jays need a new team culture.This has been going on for far too long.They have the players but cannot compete with any consistency its only too obvious why?It looks like as long as it isn't affecting the bottom line then it isn't a problem.Stop going to the games.Empty seats may get their attention.This team does not deserve its following.Canada deserves better than this.

@@normthompson923 Agreed but fire Atkins first before trading away the teams assets. He orcestrated the last rebuild and received terribe returns on his trades. The Jays got Anthiny Kay, Simeon Woods Richardson ans cash for Strohman. Then he got Drury and McKinney for Happ. The 2 top starters on the market and he gave them away to start the rebuild. Dont let that clown start the next one.

We scored 10 runs on Sat and somehow he decided to : - benched Danny - moved Schneider out of leadoff (3 hits, HR) -continued to let Springer hit leadoff - Puts in a DH batting under .150

Yea absolutely no idea how this guy still has a job after last year. Lineup right now should be Kiner-Falefa The Schneider we love Guerrero Jansen Varsho Bo Clement Springer Keirmaier And when is this team ever going to use their speed? Another reason Schneider needs to go, no aggression on the bases at all

@NatTurnerswitBurnerz not sure who'd be ok with giving up a decent offensive LF with decent defense and one of the top prospects in baseball just for a lefty bat thats good on defense. The Hernandez trade was bad hes a regular 100 rbi guy, not a great defender but thats a bat you gotta keep

The Twins definitely have the Blue Jays number since that huge Wild card win last year. My Twins started out a bit rusty but a 12-game winning streak, 6 straight series wins and 24-16 proved they’ll be competitive and fun to watch yet again this year! ⚾️🔴⚪️🔵

Vladdy's clown antics have subsided since Teoscar was in town, and his plate appearances are all star form again. Manoah had a quality start which the Jays have had many of this season. Their record displays the need for a TEAM to contribute to be above .500 The last half of May will dictate what the front office will do trade wise.

A team full of great hitters hitting badly but still no media or public pressure to replace the hitting coaches. The Jays have ALWAYS underachieved at the plate under the current coaches. Great job to have! You can be absolutely and obviously terrible, and nobody seems to want to discuss your job performance let alone terminate you. Most of us would kill for that kind of position.

With a base open after another botched easy play by Clement Schneider gives the go ahead to pitch to the twins power hitter with two outs? I was there and called exactly what was going to happen. Not only should the manager be fired, but analytics have taken all instinct out of the game. This team is awful, but they are drowning because of their manager. Fire him and the entire coaching staff and start fresh. What a complete waste of money it was going to that game. I'm done. Not interested in being another stupid Toronto sports fan.

I knew Manoah would eventually get "shelled". It took a little longer than expected, but he eventually blew the game. What are the Blue Jays going to do if this washed-up pitcher won't agree to go back to Buffalo or Triple-A somewhere?

To be fair he had no run support. I think he did good enough but yah knowing the Jays can't hit he should have probably been pulled while he was up. Keeping him in there for that long was asking for it given his current form
