I have been struggling with trying to find a good 40's do for my hair for when I do re-enactments. This has been the easiest and least stressful tutorial! Another look I'm using with this, is to tie the last pieces into a ponytail with a ribbon! Both ways look great!

I made 35 Plus year retired cosmetologist and I have been trying for years to do this style and now thanks to you I will have it! I always believed I needed a hair roll and could never find one. I'm so happy that I don't, although my hair is very long I think I can accomplish this.

Oh my goodness! So I'm currently growing out a pixie cut and it's length now is maybe a little shorter than the models. Prom is tomorrow! I had no clue what I was going to do with my hair, it's too short for everything! Thank you so much, I am so relieved. I have a lovely clip I can put in the middle as well, I am so excited now! This is a great classic 40's victory roll. I've been wearing this style for years when I want a great look for a not good hair day or for growing out. I use a styling rat or hair padding, but I love this approach too. Thanks so much for sharing.
