As a 31 year old married man who grew up in the 90s this brings back so many memories of playing 2 player with my friend I remember I would always pick either sweet tooth or hammerhead or minion I remember trying to get to the final boss in TM1 and wanting to play as minion so bad then when he became playable in TM2 I was pumped

The first Twisted Metal will always be my favorite, I loved the 90's low budget horror movie feel

I feel Twisted Metal Head-On is the real sequel to TM 2; characters, art style...too bad there is no Minion.

I love the low budget Grindhouse feel of these games.

Definitely love the comic book style on the characters, it gives them a lot of personality. Those are my fav aesthetics. I hope this franchise returns someday. I used to play a lot TM2 back in the day.

I wish they did more with Severed Sam. A headless corpse driving a car raises so many questions. Like his backstory etc.

Such a shame what happened to the team during TM: Black 2's development, you can definitely tell they didn't get very far into the character development, assuming 12-Pak, was the only new character in lost, and there were some weapon animations for the vehicle but it definitely wasn't finished. His Bio cracked me up by the way, despite it being kinda gruesome. I'm also convinced there was concept art for Pit Viper in a newer game included in the booklet that came with the Extra Twisted Edition. It sucks what happened.

The way HeadOn perfected the feel of Mr Slam's, Grasshoper's and Twister's ult but were not brought back to TMPS3 was so sad, RoadBoat existed and had a more annoying CC than that of all of this vehicles. There was no excyse for cutting them all out 7w7. Though from my understanding the dlc would have brought back all 3 except for Grasshopper who was going to be reverted to Pitviper

The best are: 1. Twisted metal V/BLACK. 2.Twisted metal VI/HEAD ON. 3.Twisted metal II. 4.Twisted metal IV.

I really like all these videogames, Twisted Metal! I love them all so much, but my favorite ones are Twisted Metal 2 and Twisted Metal Black. Also, I like the way how they did the characters, the characters on these videogames are utterly amazing!

TM2 is my childhood game of the series. I re-bought it a few years ago and have it today. I was so sad that TM: Head On was not released in EU for the PS2 version☹. My favorite has always been Outlaw 2(and later on with the same siblings-outlaw) and Twister. Crimson Fury was fun too and nice car.

Damn. Twisted Metal's development was a perfect example of a graph with a bell curvature. It was rising until it reached its peak with TW3, then it simply lost its charm and went down and down until it was gone. When I look back to older games, this series brings me the most nostalgic feelings.

When i had TM small brawl, i always had trouble unlocking Trapper, Mime and Piecemeal i only got Darkside and Axel after that i gave up on the rest.

So the only character from the Twisted Metal 95 to never make another appearance was Pit Viper.

3:09 Definitely one of my faves, if mainly because the damaged version shows just how psycho the character truly is, lol 4:41 Mentioned that the create-a-cars are not shown. FTR, the only true difference is the special weapon; there are no armor or HP differences between the dozen or so variations of the custom car. In fact, the hitboxes are the same as well. Oh, and there are only two decent special weapons, the 'twintorchers' and the 'funny bomb', the former being more tactically useful. 4:53 Like, Calypso has the absolute *_WORST_* special weapon in the game, worse than any of the four custom car special weapons. I rarely ever played as Calypso for that reason and because of the ending being not so good... 5:03 Having a special weapon that saps the foe's HP sounds great, but it saps 1% every second, and restores her HP at about half the sap rate if not less, depending on a few factors such as how many foes are being sapped at once, duration, armor rating of the foe/s, and if the foe/s are immobilized. The effectiveness drops after about three seconds and is almost unnoticeable after about seven, 1v1, with multiple foes making this effectiveness drop even faster. Armor ratings of three or higher will have a fifty percent resistance, but when immobilized, all foes will lose the most HP, but no matter what, Meter Maid will not restore more than 1% HP per two seconds, and I've gotten no more than six or seven percent. At least her ending is worth it, lolz 5:12 I can't help but both laugh and feel really bad for this one... 5:20 The Jones' have a decent vehicle for combat, but the best ending in the game, though Rob Zombie's ending is great too. 5:25 Though the character is obviously a transphobic jab (pushing every single stereotype in our faces), the vehicle is actually not that difficult to use in the game, and is not a pushover opponent (I'd argue that Drag Queen should of been a boss-level character). The ending, well...I mean, it's kinda anti-climactic since all she needed to do was audition and work her arse off to achieve the same end, rather than compete in a bloodfest tournament for far longer than it would of taken, but you know...plot and all that, lol 5:31 I've always loved Rob's unique voice; I'd love to meet the members of White Zombie at some point... 5:34 The fact that the endings for all boss characters are the same as the custom car is very disappointing...but for Sweet Tooth, the most OP boss character I've ever faced (harder and more spammy than Tower Tooth even), the game is far too easy. 5:45 Seeing this car anywhere else makes it look completely out of place, lolz 5:58 After this, we never see Minion again. I actually liked the dynamic Minion brought, though TM2 was the best iteration with TM3 next in line. Minion in TM4 was not made to handle the stage and ease of terrain abuse it provides because it handles the way it did back in TM3 and 2. Maybe that's why Minion was axed, who knows... 6:51 I've never gotten to play Black, just a taste of the background story from the PS2 version of Head-On... 7:21 I can relate to this crazy bitch though, though not for the exact same reasons... 8:01 I stand corrected; I guess Minion got one last entry. That vehicle looks familiar though... 8:04 I never got to play this one either. Kinda flew under my radar back then... 9:34 Props for the better, PS2 version being used here. :) 11:20 Some of the sound effects from Head-On can be heard in the background, like the 'tch-tch' from Chuckie whilst hovering on Spectre, though the driver of Spectre in TM:Black is the aforementioned relatable crazy bitch Bloody Mary. 12:50 Only difference between Gold Tooth and Sweet Tooth is a fifty percent boost to defense and weapon power, and I mean standard weapon power; the special weapon only has a slight improvement. From what I understand, Gold Tooth was going to be much more, infinitely replenishing weapons as long as the ammo count was at least one, no overheating guns, and infinite special weapon usage, though without the fifty percent boost to weapon power and defense. 13:43 O.O Wut... lolz (I mean, I heard about the flying cars but this...) 14:00 Okay, that's badass. I'd love a motorcycle like that... 14:25 Damn, okay then...about as close to a bus as we'd ever get, lolz Anyway, glad this video exists. I'll definitely see about playing the other TM games I've yet to get to play...
