Full in depth review of Kings Dominions all new hybrid coaster, Twisted Timbers! Hurlers old wooden track has been stripped, allowing for new steel track to be placed, meaning the coaster can do things it couldn't before. The ride is so much fun and a great fit for the park!

Taylor, you have exactly 73,000 subscribers!!!!!! This is awesome! I have been watching your channel ever since around 20,000 to 30,000 subscribers. It is amazing how much your channel has grown, from vlogs, off ride footage, and coaster reviews (and of course park battles) to coaster parodies, quality off ride footage, ear-rape POV’s (I hope you get the joke) and of course Kings Dominion: A Lifetime of Memories, by far the greatest video I have seen from a single KZfaqr EVER!!!! Went out to Kings Dominion for the first time today. I was impressed with the park. I personally enjoyed I305 a tad bit more than I liked TT, but they were both fantastic rollercoasters. I also happened to get 2 rollbacks at separate times on Flight of Fear

Angelo Giles Both of the rollbacks we went halfway up the cobra roll at the beginning. The lights come on immediately and then they have the maintenance crew push you back to the station

4 rides in 90+ August weather and I’m in love. I got ejector air in places I couldn’t believe. And those 3 hills at the start had me flying out of my seat so forcefully for around 3+ seconds each. My thighs were in real pain after just 2 rides, but I couldn’t stop myself from more!

I think my prediction for the mystery object is that it impacted the apple orchard, causing a lot of damage and because of what it is made of, it somehow disorient the gravitational pull, causing things to float or bend (hence the twisted tree and the floating tractor). I think that's what I think KD was going for. Other than that, this looks like a solid rmc.

I rode this weekend for the first time, you are so right about how smooth it is, still glass smooth to this day. Considering what it achieves while remaining so smooth, I was amazed. Great freaking ride. We rode front, then back, love both but the back airtime had me hollering like a looney toon.

This coaster was really slowed to a crawl when I rode it in March, but the longer this ride has been running, the better this ride has become. I’m so glad that this coaster is at my home park.

In 65° weather, in the back row, it is HAULING. Some of the best airtime in America, best coaster at Kings Dominion. INCREDIBLE.

The Floating Tractor was going to be a test vehicle, where guests sit in it, but the trees hated it and made it float

My son and I finally got to ride this. We came to KD twice before only to have the ride shut down. But it was up and running yesterday and it was awesome! Lots of air time, and the rolls are definitely a "10". Love this coaster :)

The injector airtime moment that really gets you (or at least got me) is the small hill after the trick track double up. Oh my goodness, that one is intense but MAN was it great!

Rode it for the first time this past week with our first visit to the park on vacation. Back seat is definitely my favorite as well. We rode front row and back row.

went for the first time this season on tuesday the 3rd, got to ride twisted timbers twice and once in the very back seat. I totally agree, the back seat gave a way better experience and i'm so glad twisted timbers is at my home park.

This is the first big coaster my grandson ever road. This is my home park and I got season passes for us. We went to Halloween Haunt. He had finally got the nerve to ride the Backlot coaster and loved it. I told him Twisted would be a good start to riding a big coaster. I was thinking of The Hurler…oh it isn’t too crazy. 😂 After we rode it I realized my mistake. It scared the heck out of both of us! I was NOT prepared. 😂It is our favorite ride! My grandson is becoming a coaster thrill seeker. We have Busch Gardens close by too. He has riden all the big coasters there, and he will be going to Islands of adventure this spring, with plans to ride Velocicoaster (I will be so jealous!). Great video and review!!

Just did today, epic ride. It seemed kinda simple and minimal compared to other RMCs and my first 2 rides were good but a little lacking. I was in back...I decided to try near the front. Holy crap THAT was awesome. The air was just insane. It may not have the nose elements or be the craziest but wow so much airtime, good pace, nice flowing layout. Definite top 10 steel coaster (which is getting crowded with RMCs)

I really hope they add an RMC to my park at Tampa. I feel like it's a really great park and deserves something enthusiasts in Florida would love to see. Being down here in FL is hard for us because getting out of the state for some of us take at least 6 hours

I just rode it for the first time Friday and got 4 rides on it. I absolutely loved it. It’s a front seat ride for me. Also my thoughts on the tractor as you climb the stairs. If you notice it’s on a single rail. I think that is a nod to the raptor coasters. lol

Yes I love the backseat I rode it in Tuesday I hate that they were holding the line and only running one train at the time but I have to agree I'm glad that I waited to ride these are one of those ride I would ride back to back. Now I'm waiting on Steel Vengeance

The ride was down most of the day on Tuesday, with the green train off the track and covered with a tarp. They were also testing the blue train with water dummies. When it opened up, since they were only running one train, lines grew to excess of two hours on a non-crowded day! So be weary if you are visiting Kings Dominion soon because you don't want to miss this fantastic ride, and it's obviously suffering some new-ride issues.

It depends on what worker is there, they aren’t strict but they want you to go to the shortest lines and one lady let you go wherever but if a stricter worker is there you can still ask to be towards a certain seat like towards the back

Steel vengeance is the ultimate rmc coaster made. Rode it during labor day and it was really smooth. The outer bank turn was crazy. And way more air time.

when I was in 6th grade our class had to design a rollercoaster I had a super fun time making mine but when it came to naming my ride I decided on Twisted Timbers, now they named a real ride Twisted Timbers! I'm going insane right now!!!!

So as I’m typing I rode this yesterday as my very first rmc and I rode in the frost cart of row 2 and it was insane good hang time, good ejector, etc

I think the theming and the unique inversions and the three ejector hills in a row make me more excited to ride this than Steve. I really hope I can make it out to Virginia this year. I haven't been to BGW since 2015, and I was disappointed by Apollo and Alpie back then. Alpie was trimmed really hard and I got stapled in row 3 on Apollo. And I want to ride Invadr too. I got to visit KD last year very briefly. I only rode Dominator, Volcano, Flight of Fear, and I305. I rode I305 in the rain in row 3, so I didn't get the best experience. I really want to go back to ride TwisT, and to get the coveted Grizzly night ride since I loved Beast so much. And of course get some proper rides on I305 to form a solid opinion on it.

Lol, I like how you just rolled off by saying "I'm going to give it a 10", but great review, you basically covered everything, and like you said, if you rode this when it first opened, and got to ride this again now, the ride experience is completely different, but I agree, back row, right side, at night, and green train👌

Hey Taylor me and my friend rode Twisted Timbers on May 12 2018 and we were so surprised in how thrilling it actually was there was a lot of air time moments and a lot of parts where you are coming out of your seat I think what I like mostly about this ride is the theming for Cedar Fair this was really awesome because Cedar Fair is not use to theming there coasters so they did an EXCELLENT job the only thing I really didn't like about Twisted Timbers was the restraints I had trouble getting them but this ride is no joke I'm kind of glad that King's Dominion and Cedar Fair took down Hurler and replace it with a ride that's just WAY BETTER I wanted to ride it again and I when I went that day me and my friend got the fast lane plus but the line for the ride was insane which makes sense cause it's new but we would have to wait in the crowded line and we couldn't ride it also cause we had to leave at 6pm but I enjoyed it I miss Hurler but this is way better and btw this is an amazing review and nice off ride footage man keep up the good work 👍👍

At 0:07 I got really intrigued for a second, hoping that this review would have two Taylors arguing with each other. Also, I really love that alien orb starfish thing. I hope we get a new crazy sci-fi Halloween maze that explains more of the story.

I'm gonna disagree my man. I don't think it possible for SV to be overrated. It's gonna be another Millennium Force, except it will actually live up to the hype. YOU WATCH.

Is there any concern since this ride goes upside down with lap bars and no shoulder restraints? We are going to Kings Dominion tomorrow and I am hesitant to let my kids ride it.

Nope! It’s completely safe! There are a bunch of rides out there that go upside down with only a lapbar. There’s still a secondary restraint mechanism in place (a seatbelt) so there’s an extra level of redundancy. Your kiddos arent going anywhere, and they will LOVE it! Have fun :)

I rode it on 3/31 after it being closed all day, it valleyed that morning during testing and it didn't open until 7:30ish in the evening. I waited 2 & a half hours to ride it. WELL WORTH IT PEOPLE. I also met charles from coaster fanatic after riding which was pretty sweet.

those two hours are nothing compared to the 4 hours I waited for Fury325 on the weekend of its opening season

The FreeMasons It kinda is especially when there were people waiting in a car for me outside the front gate the whole time.
