Hello These rings look great just what I had in mind. I do not have memory wire do I need it to make these rings - hoping I can use regular wire I have as I have some coloured wire.

Hi Susan: These rings are not made with memory wire. I used 20g Artistic copper wire for these rings.

Love this! Love that someone requested this. I logged into my YT just to like, comment on this and subscribe. Can I make a request of something with wire and possibly beads that can be made as gifts for healthcare workers, especially Nurses, a surgeon and some hospital staff? Want to make something for the staff where my life partner and best friend is about to have surgery. I have the weekend to come up with something. I see they wear pins and jewelry on where they have their ID tags hanging to swipe into places. Thanks if you can help! I want to make a few a little different but maybe just different color beads or the same thing in a ring, necklace, pin, earrings etc. for each person. I wonder what to do for the surgeon!!?! Anyway, thanks for all your projects as there are so many to choose from even if you only have paper clips!

What are the pliers you’re using at the moment? You’ve done a xuron pliers review but what are the ones you use now?

I use the Xuron cutters and tweezer nose pliers, the small round nose pliers red handles in this PDF and the Chain nose pliers here: bit.ly/3BPm6OZ The black handled round nose pliers I often use are not available as I bought them 30 years ago!

Can the wire be hammered first then twisted? Can the twisted wire be hammered/ hardened with a rawhide hammer? Or will any hammer ruin the wires that cross each other?

I think you can hammer it lightly, but be careful not to put too much pressure on the wire.
