He got off on having people up all hours of the night, talking him down from a suicide he wasn't planning to commit and having them worried and traumatized for days not knowing if he was okay.

Reminds me of the TF2 KZfaqr Sketchek, a Pyro main who was very skilled and well-loved by the community, even getting a weapon (I believe it was the Axtinguisher?) named after him, Sketchek's Bequest. Faked his own death, told everyone he had an unnamed terminal illness, many community members were mournful of the loss of the great Pyro player. Then a few years later, comes back, makes an entire ARG around his coming back, makes a half-assed video telling everyone that he quit video games because they ruined his life, so he wanted to "go out with a bang." And then goes back to making Pyro videos. I believe he did technically say "I'm sorry" to those who were hurt by his actions, but I'm sorry, if you're out here making literal 2022-Riddler-style puzzles about your coming back to KZfaq, and then going back to KZfaq like nothing ever happened, those are *not* the actions of a person who regrets lying to thousands of people about dying of a terminal illness. I'd argue Sav's situation is even scummier because he was supposed to have died by suicide, though I guess that's kinda subjective which one is worse. Both situations are absolutely horrible though, and the fact that neither one shows real remorse for their actions, and Sav is even *proud* of it, means that both ought to have all community respect for them stripped away.

I was in a discord server with a kid who got bullied and he faked trying to kill himself and was put in the hospital and everyone in the server was super worried, people even cried. my best friend told them that it was fake and he helped the kid because he was insulted every day. I'm still friends with the one who helped him but I just wanted to say faking your death is a horrible thing and makes people extremely sad and once they find out your life gets way worse.
