@@charliemallonee2792 wasn’t actually a real bet. The joke is that I never thought anyone would be nice and give him carrions because they’re better than creepers. Also swarm hosts are just a joke anyways so I figured no one would waste money strain switching it anyways

I love that the chrysalis shows the direction of movement as the hero portrait in the top left. That’s the kind of quality of life improvements that go unappreciated but are super nice.

unfortunately Grant wasn't paying attention to chat while playing so the cows where still $15 for most of this. the last attempt was raised to the correct $50 one if I remember right.

Wonder if those cows could be modified so there is a total cow map limit over which they simply don't spawn, or some other mechanism to prevent thousands of them, like a per-map limit of activations or something.

Just a note for grant: Sc2 is not gpu limited But cpu High single core performance is what you actually need A 4090 will still lag lol

Are you sure? The shimmer effect is what makes the invisible units cause lags, and that sounds like it should be a GPU thing

I think they triggered the ability limit they discovered in Realscale, thats why that drone didn't have any commands. Thats how many cows there were in there

Afaik, SC2 doesn't use muti-core well or at all, so you would need a very powerful sigle- or dual-core perfomance processor.

@@vags1234 I remember checking it out long time ago on 5775c, it did utilize at least 6 threads, as opposed to Heroes of the Storm for some reason, that needed thread priority changed to real-time, so it wouldn't chocke the living shit out of a single thread and start using other threads too. Right now on 12700k it utilizes 3 threads with occassional jumps to e-cores for some reason, even after unlimiting FPS game runs at over 360 FPS and still uses 3 cores.

Grant, your gpu would not be the limiting factor. Since StarCraft 2 only runs on 2 threads, your CPUs single threaded performance would be the limiting factor.

The problem is that it wasn’t being carried over between resets. It’s fine though, nobody sent money to the speed up. It was a goal so all money went to it regardless of the event specified

Idea for future TTG: supply/demand trolls. Trolls become more expensive the more times they are used, and less expensive if they haven’t been used in a while. So if you have 10 trolls, each at $1, then using troll 1 will make troll 1 cost $1.09 and 2-10 will cost $0.99. If you buy troll 1 20 times, then you pay $20 (market price) but then it costs $2.80, and the other trolls cost $0.80. This will discourage spamming a single troll, unless you buy all at once

I really like twitch trolls grant but like watching grand struggle just to get to the base is no fun. Same with the infinite cows in the first mission. It's funny the first time but it gets annoying really quickly. Though on the upside, people spend money on this

unpopular opinion, remove anything from the game that causes lag. Its not fun to watch, and its probably not fun to play. The Cows are a funny meme, but they break the flow of the game completely. Just my 2 cents. edit: I said this before he mentions a hot fix 11:27 double edit: holy crap 50 bucks for cows and still rolling, I cant be upset about that

The answer is Lassara, Khalai Caste is the general civilian body of the protoss. Karax is Khalai but Lassara predates him.

Ummm ackshually the game is lagging not because of the GPU usage but because of the CPU usage, the cows overload its cores and the SC2 engine is not optimized for more than 400 units on a map at a time🤓

I felt like you should reduce the number of cows for the next TTG for LoTV it's fun watching it a couple of times but the game just can't handle that many cows and the lag is annoying to watch
