Twitter's Reaction to Indie World Showcase 8.11.2021

Күн бұрынSo this is Twitter's Reaction to the recent Nintendo Indie World Showcase on August 11th, which featured many games created by independent developers! I tried to keep a mostly positive reaction for this video as there wasn't much negativity and the games deserve positive feedback because of the effort put into them. Hope you enjoy!
By the way, I have a Discord server and I would really appreciate it if you joined! We're trying to get to 500 members and having more people to talk to is always great, so feel free to join with the link at the bottom of the description! :D

I'm really proud of this video specifically as it may be my longest Twitter video yet! I spent a lot more time editing it than the other ones and it was honestly really fun! I hope you enjoy!

@HypnoSpace Outlaw Its an indie title that is the sequel to Hollow Knight, a really popular indie game. Its been stuck in development hell since 2017.

I'm so happy that slime rancher got released on switch but the fact that is called portable edition and not Nintendo switch edition triggers me a lot

Honestly slime rancer is the only game i kinda care about because I got it for free on gold when it was still in beta and now it refuses to load my save. Would not mind playing second one.

Simply put, many Twitter users have unrealistic expectations. If its from Nintendo, they'll expect news on first party titles, even in a showcase that isn't intended to show them.

Yeah, this indie world was pretty bad. There was nearly NOTHING there that interested me. And no, I wasn’t expecting Smash in this. The August 2020 one was way better.
