Twitter's Reaction to Metroid Dread

3 жыл бұрынSo this is Twitter's Reaction to Metroid Dread, a brand new installment in the original 2D Metroid series! I'll be honest, when I saw this get announced in the recent Nintendo Direct, I was really surprised. I've played the original Metroid in the past but I've never really gotten into it. Although, all the 2D Metroid games after that have always looked so great, so I might just give it another go because of this game!
If there are any video ideas you would like to suggest to me, please do so in the comment section! I'd love to know what you all want to see from the channel going forward!
Editing these videos have been really fun for me and you all seem to enjoy them, so that has made me really happy these past few days! Once again, I just want to thank you all for the amazing support and I hope you continue to watch my videos in the future! :D

They would've surpassed the whole hype of E3 completely if they released the titles from February here. Like for me, nothing can beat the combination of Splatoon 3 + Miitopia, one of my favorite game titles on the 3DS.

Well, this is probably gonna be my first Metroid game. Looks amazing and almost horror esque. I mean Metroid has always had a similar feel to a survival horror game anyway.

probably a good choice since Super Metroid has a bit of a learning curve, and it's pretty hard to obtain Zero Mission and Fusion legally, the first of the two being my best pick for a first (official) Metroid game, though AM2R is all around also a good choice.

I loved Super Metroid but one thing's it was lacking was good combat. It was just spamming missiles at the right time. Metroid Dread seems to have fixed that.

honestly Missiles were useless for anything except bosses because of your beam weapons I don’t think there was a single enemy that had enough health that you needed to use Super Missiles on them

I'm not a metroid fan myself- the series has never really appealed to me, but I'm damn happy for all the metroid fans out there. They freaking deserve this after so long. It's nice to see Nintendo reviving clearly beloved franchises that have been MIA for ages
