I got this Lenovo Thinkcentre M91p without HDD for $50 from Ebay and I had an old 250GB HDD and fitted and gave it as a present. I had one spare 2GB so added to 4GB and made it to total 6GB and now I am planning to buy a 1GB DDR3 graphics card onto it. I presented it to my neice.

Pci cards are really, really slow. If it only has a pci slot, honestly, it's not worth investing in it anymore.

Can you please recommend a Heatsink Fan either the fan or both (heatsink and fan combo) for the M91P - as my unit is very loud. I need an after market replacement. Thank you.

PSA: CONCERNING HOW TO INSTALL A PCI CARD - the actual manual says NOTHING about this. You may notice a small metal tab where the top of the PCI card's metal shield would be and think maybe pressing it will release the blind shield - it won't. You'll just bend stuff trying to do it that way. You actually need to remove the entire motherboard chassis from the case to get access to the card slot the proper way - thankfully, this is VERY easy to do: just find the two blue plastic tabs at each side of the chassis plate, press them inwards then lift and pull out the entire chassis plate, with the whole motherboard on it. NOW you can unclip that metal tab at the top of the slot to release the blind plate and insert your card. Then just slide the whole chassis plate right back in and down, until the blue tabs click it back into place. They really COULD have put all this into the damn manual, but since it's just a glorified checklist for field technicians I suppose they decided there's no need for them to know... Also note: on some cards, connectors on the card CAN collide with the corner of the motherboard - it's up to you whether you prefer to file the connector down or unsolder it outright...

thanx u for your video, btw i found an ad selling this pc case only, do u think i can fit mini itx mobo & vga in it ??? no need for optic drive, and what about the power supply??? thanx

I would advise against getting this case. They usually have a lot of proprietary stuff on them, so you could get into problems.

daca ai key-ul de windows 7 poti sa instalezi direct windows 10, de multe ori poti sa ai noroc si sa iti recunoasca activarea de windows 7 si sa nu fie nevoie sa introduci key-ul cand instalezi windows 10.

@@UltimateDIY eu nu am avut probleme pana acum si am instalat/upgrate peste 800 sisteme la windows 10. merg sigur cheile de w7, w8, cele de xp nu merg

Nu am instalat chiar pe atatea ca si tine, dar am patit de cateva ori sa nu mearga key-ul de W7 direct pt W10, dar sa mearga prin upgrade. O singura data am patit chiar si cu key de W8 sa nu mearga direct la W10 si la fel a mers doar prin upgrade.

El puerto de expansión es PCI, no PCIe, así que no se le puede conectar una tarjeta gráfica.

10:34 "...but, keep in mind, this is not a PCI Express slot - this is old style PCI slot". Yes you CAN use a graphic card in there, but it will have to be a __PCI__ graphic card, and those are not easy to find these days.
