This is a Two-Bit review of Heartland Museum in High River Alberta.
The Good:
Cool to see some of the props for the show,
You can check out the outside of Maggie’s Diner but it is not an active diner so you cannot get inside or get a meal there
There is more to the museum than just Heartland stuff it is worth checking out
If you come at the right time you may get to see some of the filming happening
The Bad:
It is very small with a relatively limited Heartland related stock of items
You cannot see the ranch as it is privately owned and the only thing you can see is a locked gate.
They are not doing a very good job of capitalizing on the desire of people to see the Heartland stuff, there should be tours inside Maggies and opportunities to see the ranch
If you are a Heartland fan it is worth checking out if you are in the area, not really worth going out of your way to see.
