In today's video, I'll be opening and reviewing (11) 2023-24 Panini Prizm Basketball Hanger boxes. These are products are the latest offering from Panini for Prizm retail basketball. These boxes sell for $22 at Walmart. Each box contains 1 20-card pack. Expect to find 3 exclusive Orange Ice Prizms per box on average. Look for non-numbered parallels in Silver, Green, Orange Ice, and the SP Glitter. The hangers offer up one SSP numbered card in the brand new White Ice Prizm(#'d/35). Look for Rookie Penmanship and Penmanship autographs, as well as inserts such as Emergent, Deep Space, and Global Reach. Prizm highlights the new rookie class of Victor Wembanyama, Scoot Henderson, Brandon Miller, Keyonte George, Jamie Jaquez, and Ausar and Amen Thompson.

🚨FINAL RATING: 2.5/5 🃏🃏🃏🚨
🃏🃏 for FUN FACTOR: A new, low numbered parallel and Wemby add a solid fun factor for the hangers. But as with every retail format a case hit insert could add so much. A missed opportunity. I should add that in my video review, I stated there were no autos. There are, and that also adds a little flavor. Five retail flavors does feel like overkill, especially considering the blasters and megas hit shelves nearly 4 months ago.
🃏🃏 for VALUE: Coming in at over $1 a card, coupled with the ever declining Wemby market, the hangers are less of a value buy than the Megas and Blasters when they released at the height of Wemby mania.
🃏🃏 for DESIGN/FORMAT: This is a typical Prizm format. Zero case hit inserts, non-numbered parallels, and one SSP numbered parallel. The addition of the glitter for 2023 was welcomed, but not enough to make it enticing on it's own.
🃏🃏🃏🃏 for COLLECTABILITY: Still King of the Mountain and will remain so until Panini loses it's license. Prizm is the card every collector wants.

I agree, the white ice prizms are the best looking one's thus far! But you know Panini is going to milk the 2023/24 season as much as they can to profit off of Wemby, so I'm sure they'll release least a few other ice prizm variants before next season starts 🤣

There aren't any comps. So the white ice sells for 3x more that the white /175. Giannis white /175 is all over the place. Low $10, high $40. I'd say $20-25. So I'd put that white ice at $60-$75.
