This is good news. Glad to know there are more cobblers out there doing great work. Since I transitioned to civilian life after the military for 28yrs, I decided my feet, back, and hips needed quality footwear. After getting a pair of boots resoled and having to trash them because the guy did not know what he was doing, I started searching for videos on resoling boots. That is how I found you guys. When it is time to get a resole, my boots are coming your way. I have seen enough of your videos to know that YOU know what right looks like. Glad you guys had a good trip, some fun, and met great people. Also, it is a legitimate business expense!

Nice video! The interviews were just long enough to get a good feel for what they are all about. I have never had to record in a space with lots of noise like that; I think that the interviews came through pretty well. .

Very nice and thanks for producing this vid. Question for ya, those cobblers that won awards, can you produce a vid. highlighting the aspects that won them their trophies? It would be nice to see your craft’s best practices. Anyway, first time viewer and new subscriber to your site. Jesse

Thanks for subscribing! Unfortunately, the video footage for that weekend was damaged. We filmed a lot. We interviewed each contestant and winner, showing their work and describing their technique. We salvaged this little bit the best we could. We were very disappointed also. Others at the show had similar technical difficulties. We really don’t know what happened

Unfortunately, the mics malfunctioned. We worked hard to get what we got out of the videos. We wanted to keep from disappointing all the people interviewed, so we slid this one in.

Thanks! We will have the videos up and running again soon. Moving the business into a 160 year old cabin that’s last updated was 1920 has taken up all our time while maintaining business as usual. We have 4 projects that we believe everyone will enjoy in the works for videos. Thanks for being patient and following us! Yes, there are a couple facebooks groups just for cobblers.
