They’re literally describing my adolescence in Chicago from ‘88-‘92. Medusas, Berlin- Disco Night and EVERY NIGHT, Fake IDs. Industrial/Euro Trash/Goth. Someone needs to make a documentary about growing up in Chicago during that time. We were like tiny adults dancing to House Music with forty year olds.

I think they used a standard filter because they had the exact same effect in a Red Letter Media video a while back, just minus the lightning flashes so that is probably an extra layer.

Yeah, her story made my ears prick up. If any of my friends told me to be quiet because it was ruining our 'cool' or 'menacing' vibe I'd not be able to keep a straight face for the rest of the day. Been a goth since I was 18. I'm in my mid 40's and still loving it.

@@joyfulgirl40018 Maybe so!! It likely depends on a person's feelings toward Nicole Kidman and perhaps drug use in general! To me, though you didn't ask, Nicole has never look finer. If she uses corrective surgery, it certainly works for me and I recommend it! Dosing with my mom and dad? maybe not, but otherwise: Wow!! Please add me for that!! I can't wait for the next episode!!

I loved going to Medusa's. She didn't need a fake ID to get into Medusa's like Colbert suggested. They had an under aged show on the weekends with a juice bar, no alcohol served. It was a couple of hours before the adult show.

I lived in a rundown apartment for 13 years that was a mere 60-second stumble away down the alley from Berlin. It will remain one of the most incredible places I've ever experienced until the day I die. Went into Berlin at least four or five times a week and rarely had a bad time. Medusa's was was in the opposite direction, at the other end of the alley; very much a loved place, but that was weekends only. How I managed to survive the constant nightclubbing without OD-ing or being murdered by a deranged psychopathic serial killer is beyond me. Never remembered seeing Stephen or Melissa back then, but of course I had other priorities than starfucking possible stars-to-be. After all, I was a star!

@@petersahn1 Northern Illinois is where I grew up, so I fully understand. I didn't understand that people in the southern part of the state spoke significantly differently until I was on an archaeological dig down there. One night the crew was taking our 1 day every 2 weeks break and went to an ice cream shop (DQ I think). A couple there were arguing between themselves, and the men was overheard to exclaim "I gut da cur sturted!" I realized that people from all over spoke in many different ways. I try very hard not to make fun of others' language as a result.

When I was 17 the drinking age was 18 and licenses were just paper (No lamination and no pictures) so I used to borrow my brother's ID to go to the bar.

I used someone else's as well. Though I was of age but didn't have ID so borrow one which didn't really look like me. The guy stared at and and same thing as Melissa - asked me my sign. I recalled that the bday was an Aries but having hard time remembering the b-date so glad he asked me that instead. He paused and let me in anyways.

Not long ago I tried to buy cigarettes and the lady wouldn't sell them to me because I didn't have ID, I have a kid that is old enough to smoke, LOL. I had to get a co-worker to go and buy them for me since my ID was at home. This was in Canada where their sign says "if you look 25 and under we will card you", which is different than USA, their signs says "if you look 40 and under we will card you".

@@3shayll I went out to a karaoke bar and brought my mom. My 70s-something mom. They asked for ID. She had forgotten hers. They nearly refused to let her in. (May I repeat, my 74 year old mom!) Then she remembered she had a photo of her passport on her phone. So they grudgingly allowed her to enter, but since it had been a photo and not the real thing, they said she could come in, but she wasn't allowed to drink. Fortunately, she doesn't drink anyway, so she didn't care, but it was really weird, and definitely an example of following rules over common sense!

The first time I saw a drag queen I was in Detroit, waiting with my family to get on an old steamwheeler to go to an amusement park in Canada. I was confused. My sisters were confused, I vaguely remember Mom being horrified. Dad said "Some people just like to dress like other people." OK. If you're cool with it Dad, it's OK.

I didn’t see drag queens until an adult. But I think two men may have been either cross dressers, or they were transgender, and we were in the Lloyd Center parking lot. My grandpa said to stay away from people looking like that. Shrugs.

Weirder night I had. I went to a concert, Cher opened by Cindy Lauper. Side note, I'm 56 and I've had a crush on Cindy since I was 16. Anyway, there were gang of young men, all dressed as Cher from some point in her career. From the '60s to current. A night I'll always remember.

Its two biggest problems are: 1) it's really just a remake of the first GB movie form 1984, thus unneeded, and 2) Chris Hemsworth's role _(supposedly meant to be the male equivalent of Janine in the original)_ is utter garbage. The movie could have been awesome - if they had decided to make a proper sequel to the first two movies. With own ideas and most important: with a new story. Why they decided against that, I'll never understand.
