IS Lock is a useful feature that first appeared on the GH5 and allows video capture without a tripod that is really stable. I used it and the Extended Teleconverter setting to capture an orb weaver spider in the act of weaving her web. The Lumix 100-300 lens can focus to 4.9 feet/1.5 meters, but I needed to add extra reach with the Extended setting.
I also show some footage of a raccoon and her youngster that was captured a few years back with a Lumix GX85 and 45-150mm lens. As this camera lacks IS Lock, I had to brace the camera on the ledge of the window I was shooting out.
