SLI rigs were so sexy looking. Especially water cooled quad cards. i would do it in a heartbeat today if i could, and if it worked on more than a handful of games.

Two or more gpus in one pc is very aesthetic too, especially if they all the same. Too bad they can’t work together, bc having two high end gpus is kinda useless unless you need more the 4 screens.

I used to have a Crossfire build back around 2012 it was a liquid cooled loop with EK blocks. Dont remember what the cards were though would have to go find my box of old random pc parts and look for the fan shrouds.

sli was cool when every gen last like 3 years or more before the next gen . now is like between 1 to 2 years and prices are 2 to 5 times more for every tier vs 10 years ago

10 Series GTX Founders Edition SLI builds are the most damn beautiful thing on earth, I prefer that over an RTX brick honestly.

I still have a SLI build w/2 evgs 1080ti Black Editions running Windows 10 64bit. I also have a build w/2 evga 760 2gb cards. They outperformed the 3 GTX 470s in triple SLI!

I mean from a game developer standpoint why add support to your game/app if only a few select people had access to SLI it’s like the Apple touch bar on the MacBook and its removal

Unless you get multiple power supplies, multiple PCI-E 4x ports and enough power in your home, that shit is useless unless you are a Blender Modeller or some shit.
