India’s First Premium and Natural Rum, In 2013, Amrut Distilleries from Bangalore launched their Two Indies Rum, a premium natural rum which had taken them over four years to develop.
Amrut has been producing award-winning Single Malts for several years, and this rum is not exceptional, This rum is unique in that it is a blend natural Caribbean rums from Jamaica, Barbados and Guyana and Amrut’s very own natural Indian rum. This marries Rum made from sugarcane with Amrut’s rum made from Jaggery.

Dada, recently I purchased this product , but it is quiet molasses based product, there is not mention about jiggery. bottlle mentioned that, Caribbean rum + ENA ( extra neutral alcohol ..... now a days Caribbean rum make from molasses moslty, except few brand.

first thing is that product which are manufactured / made in India should be cheaper than imported ones but manufacturer things they are the price makers therefore they charge high for it in India and that's the reason they lack there sales in India.

I don't understand how can you comment on body of rum just on sniffing/nosing it, body is the feel of weight and texture in the mouth on tasting it (which may be light like skimmed milk, medium like whole milk and full bodied like texture of cream in mouth, these are approx comparisons). This you can very well make out on tasting light, medium and full bodied wines.Happy vlogging.

@@CocktailsindiaThanks for your reply, you can judge between cream and milk by eyeing it but whole milk and skimmed milk can be confirmed correctly on taste, so you should have confirmed the body on tasting it, please let me know what are the features you look for body of rum on eyeing it so as to label them light medium and full bodied. There is a myth that rum is winter season drinks...I have heard lots of people to say that 'gorom-e keu rum khay naki!!..sit kal rum er jonno best!.' But I personally believe that peoples life style including food habit always depends on the weather and environment where they live. Like Russian Tropically suits vodka....Scotland suit scotch...and hot weather like west-indies, ghana suits better with rum. Can you understand what i want to mean!! Am i right Sanjay da??
