No such thing was ever found. It was just a myth of 6th century. Arabs had limited knowledge of oceans at that time.

As Allah Said in Surah Rehman 19. He has let loosed the two seas (the salt water and the sweet) meeting together. 20. Between them is a barrier which none of them can transgress. 21. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 22. Out of them both come out pearl and coral. 23. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 24. And His are the ships going and coming in the seas, like mountains. 25. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny?

Little correction needed, density is always measured in g/cm3, kg/cm3, kg/litre, kg/m3. In short its dimension should be always ML^-3 where M stands for mass and L for length Also density of sea water is 1.025 g/cm3 and for fresh water it is 1 g/cm3

SubhanAllah! You are so blessed by Allah (SWT) Who brought you this close to Nature, letting you glorify Him at each step you put into the world of seas and oceans. No doubt!! you must have been observing His signs, taking a deeper look more closely_ connecting the Ayahs of Holy Quran to what you see with your eyes in a better way. So try to say more about Allah when you are talking about his Signs/ Creation. This is how we humans are supposed to give SHAHADA, dying in that State at any moment of our lives steadfast in our 'True Purpose'. Aslamualaikum!
