The things weren't so hidden, but thanks for the tips. Some good things I found out in 40h that could be of interest : - don't hesitate to edit your main campus building to fit more rooms. You don't always need that second terrain so soon if you exploit more the given space of your first land. - the summer time is also great for getting back on track. If you had lots of damage on campus due to invasion or thunder or such, hire one or two more gardener, wait it out, let them work for free during this infinite time period when no salaries are paid but janitors still work, and keep or fire them before next year. This also works for letting students use new distractions, bathrooms, ... During the summer break, they will fulfill their needs and you can sell the room if you need the cash - before first year starts, increasing your campus level to 3 by building all the necessary rooms let you get a grand, and a new course, for a first year with more students and cash to grow faster. - using general knowledge as a secondary course during second year, if you reduce student intakes to 8 on both course, is essentially 8 more students for just 1 professor. As it is a 1 year course, it's even less dangerous to use and level up, as it won't carry new requirements into the next and following year for continuing students. -even if prestige won't be high from it, spamming the same 50 dollars poster all around campus will get a high decor score, that will translate in better happiness, and thus better grades. - try to use as few indoor plants as possible, as they require water and will take up janitor time. There are lots of alternatives. - pushing all room prestige to 3 or more will prevent happiness malus from staff usually on this side, and is quite cheap. - having someone tend to a club recruitment thing seems useless, it's nice to remove this job from all assistants. - some rooms will gain +1 capacity just from 1 more square than the minimum, like the library or the student lounge. These seem like real good tradeoff and lots of indoor items can use the space generated out of the weird room shape

I like to use large rooms for rooms such as dorms, libraries and lounges. This way I can get high prestige numbers with smaller cost and footprint by not needing to duplicate items. I compensate by making sure these larger rooms have more than 1 way in/out so that students and staff don't bottleneck at the doorways

#11; Increase the size of your building to get rid of oddball notches and corners. The footage you had playing as you were talking shows you building odd shaped rooms to fit those notches in the corners. Before building the room square up the area and remove those corner notches.

I just tried this game for free during a game trial on Nintendo Switch and I loved it! I was totally hooked. However, I didn't find it intuitive on the Switch at all. I'll definitely be looking out for a Steam sale and get it on pc! This video was very helpful :)

When I change my student intake size in subsequent years, that green plus sign turns into a red exclamation mark if I attempt to increase class size. I’ve been assuming this is a warning that my learning rate will decrease but seems weird. Does anyone know what this actually is trying to indicate?

More on loans: with the way the interest rates work in this game, it is more expensive to borrow more money than you need, even if you pay it back early. So, try to use the sliders to borrow what you need. If you need to take a subsequent loan, try to pay off the balances of outstanding loans to consolidate your payments. As you pay the loans down, watch out for opportunities to switch to a cheaper loan. Use the cheaper loan to pay off the larger loan.
