The Cedar View Birds 24/7 live cam started with a bird feeder constructed of wood from our old barn. As time passed and my bird watching hobby grew and the weather took a toll on my first feeder, we discovered a cedar tree fallen in the woods. It's 12ft. tall and we sunk 2ft. into the ground and it's serving as a more suitable replacement for first feeder.
I have since found my feeders do a fantastic job of bringing the birds in. The tree gives the room for many feeders which gives the birds room and they don't feel crowded. They also bring their young to the feeder, check out our videos! It's been so much fun watching them interact together. Different varieties come at different times of the year. Orioles arrive in April and in the colder months the Tufted tit mouse and Junco visit, along with White throated sparrows, their song is beautiful. One year we had 7 sets of Cardinals visit during winter months, when spring comes they become more territorial. #subscribe

On their migration route, Indigo buntings, Scarlet tanagers, have been spotted
