Being completely honest, i don't think there is any band not even any kpop act who comes close to their level of artistry and authenticity. No one will be able to create a fandom and movement like ARMY again. They have content n substance for every kind of people. They understand the impact they have n what they are doing, they respect and love what they do!

KPOP groups now are following BTS footsteps. They now do variety shows, they document their daily life trough vlogs, they upload daily videos on youtube, they compose, produce and write their own songs (at least a lot of them), they are very active in social media, they do stadium concerts, they have english speakers in their group, they sing in different languages, they have storylines on their albums connecting songs, they go to U.S. talk shows and programs, have contracts with american labels and important brands, and more. So when you see groups like seventeen, Stray Kids, ateez, G-idle, NewJeans, and a lot more writting and producing their own music, it all comes thanks to BTS. And is actually a good change to the kpop industry. But this is true mostly for HYBE artists (the label BTS is part of), you guys should definitely react to more groups from HYBE since their boss is the same as BTS and they have freedom and almost the same strategies as BTS.

BTS makes timeless music. their Debut song No More Dreams can still be used to give message to the younger generation even thought its been almost 11 years, They use their music to give message, to share their thoughts and feelings, to teach or warn the youth about the reality of life. The diversity of the fandom is the result if that. And adding to that their Sincerity, Humbleness, and Love is still there eventhough 11 years have passed.

The only archetype model The Beatles set was of a self made genuine great rock and roll band who worked their a**es off playing 1000's of hours in horrible conditions 8 hours a night from 1960-1962 and had to take speed pills to stay awake to do it, in the sleazy strip clubs of Hamburg Germany and then played live in their local Cavern club for several years, played their own instruments and played them all very good even in their early days. And John and Paul were already playing guitar and writing their own songs ,Paul started at only age 14,and then John who at 16 and the leader of his own high school rock and roll skiffle band and he was really impressed and surprised that Paul was already writing his own songs, ( John had written deep poetry as a kid but he hadn't put it to music yet) and this inspired him to start writing his own songs too and thankfully from then on they never stopped. And in the 1950's and early 1960's it was really rare for most *adult* successful famous solo music acts and rock and roll bands to be writing and playing any of their own songs, most had professional song writers writing for them. And John and Paul were such amazingly talented song writers that in 1963 they already were writing hit songs for other music acts such as one of The Rolling Stones first hits the rock and roll song I Wanna Be Your Man after Mick Jagger asked them if they had any songs for them because The Rolling Stones were only recording cover songs on their first several albums, and they also wrote hit songs for Peter and Gordon,Billy Jamer and The Dakotas, and singer Cilla Black in 1963 just as their own song writing success was getting off the ground. *This* is really the only expected archetype model that became expected for any rock and roll band that wanted to be successful and popular was now expected to follow.

Paul McCartney On His Life as A Bassist In a great November 1994 Paul McCartney interview about his bass playing, he said Stuart Sutcliffe was known as a lousy bass player and that Paul had high ambitions for The Beatles that's why he wanted him out. Paul also says that The Beatles never considered themselves pop stars, they were musicians and that’s why they went into music to be musicians and part of a group and they hated the screams from the girls,Paul said the guy fans would be much more sensible and just look and pay attention to the chords they were playing and that he always just enjoyed being a craftsman and being a musician not the screams which he said ruined The Beatles. Paul also said John and he were Bonafide writers and you think Lennon & McCartney Rogers & Hammerstein, he says that’s what they thought of themselves as,Paul then says in fact it’s been borne out that’s kind of how we’ll remembered in the 20th centu

Bts got the most grossing tour worldwide with their stadium tour. They became the first rentable Asian artists from an Asian label to be rentable in the US. So no, the others groups , didn’t paved the way , actually they were the reason and still be , why people stereotype BTS. The numbers don’t lie, there is no Asian artists that have surpass BTS numbers. Their revenue is insane. But cuz of mediaplay , people don’t see it. Like for example the labels of the groups he said in the video did A LOT ( SM and YG) , is an open secret that they did and still do to this time.

bts is not a band at all. so they shouldnt be called a boy band. a band is a group that plays music instruments, bts lacks the talent to be a band.they have lowered the talent level in music and lowered the standards in music. this is why you see so many kpop groups with many members like nct with 170 members, because talent isnt needed iin kpoop, all you have to do is dance.

@@archangelmusic13 I might not be too informed about this but from what I've understood, a boy band is not like a subset of "band" rather an altogether different entity. Their difference being boy bands do not play instruments and are more pop focused. And your opinion about BTS and their influence on music quality, I'll take it as just your opinion. Their impact, career and recognition speaks for itself. I'm not very familiar with NCT to comment on their music. That's all I gotta say.

George Martin Says In This book his biography, All You Need is Ears, there's no doubt Lennon & McCartney were good musicians, they had good musical brains and the brain is where music originates, it has nothing to do with your fingers, and he also said as it happened they could all play their own instruments very well, and that Paul is an excellent music all- arounder, probably the best bass guitar-player there is, a brilliant guitarist, a first class drummer and a competent piano player. George Martin said in The Beatles early days he tried to learn to play the guitar in order to have a better musical communication between him and The Beatles, but he couldn't learn it and gave it up,but he says that John and Paul learned to play the piano far more quickly than he was able to master their instrument. George Martin also always said that John Lennon and McCartney were incredibly talented people, and he said they both were extraordinarily talented song writers and both great singers and he said he had never known or worked with anyone as brilliant as The Beatles. And he produced many music artists after them, but he never had the same success as a producer before or after producing them.Neither did Brian Epstein. h

They have this storyline about nightmares throughout many of their songs. And they talk about related emotions such as lonliness/anxiety in them (like "Piri"). And some of their songs tackle issues like Climate change (their song "Maison"). Some of their Japanese songs are also more hard rock/metal sounds like "No More".

Ken who runs cool very good The Rolling Stones, John Lennon and Keno's Classic Rock n Roll sites says in his great 2017 review of The Beatles first album Please Please Me, that they were different from any other bands and music artists before them because they wrote, sang and played their own songs and before them music groups had professional song writers writing songs for them. He said John and Paul not only wrote great songs on Please Please Me, but that John and Paul were both great lead singers who couldn't be beat at the time, and that they were on their way to becoming the greatest rock and roll band ever. He also said that the album had rock and pop songs and that it starts with Paul's I Saw Her Standing There which he calls pure rock and roll, and he said John's vocal on Twist And Shout,(which John sang so great amazingly in only 1 take with a bad sore throat from a bad cold ) was hard rock before any hard rock was being done. He also gave a great 2017 review of their second album With The Beatles, Also back in 2005 when some ignorant guy very wrongly called the early Beatles playing in concert a boy band,Ken very rightly said Oh hogwash!

In the All Music Guide review of The Beatles 1963 second album,With The Beatles Stephen Thomas Erlewine who wrote The All Music Guide's Rolling Stones biography, and reviews a lot of Beatles and solo Beatles albums, says at the end of the very good review that still the heart of With The Beatles lies not in the covers but the originals where it was clear that even at this early stage The Beatles were rapidly maturing and changing turning into expert craftsman and musical innovators. Paul McCartney said in a 1994 interview that Mick Jagger came to John and Paul in 1963 and asked him if they had any songs for them. So Paul and John wrote the rock n roll song, I Wanna Be Your Man right in front of them, and in Bob Spitz's very good book,The Beatles he explains that as they were writing it John played Keith Richards guitar and Paul played Bill Wyman's bass and Keith Richards and Mick Jagger who were really impressed that they could just write a song just like that to order, and it became one of The Rolling Stones first hits, and it motivated them to start writing their own songs and both bands became friends and often hung out together from then on.

In a great 2011 article about Goldmine Magazine's readers poll voted The Beatles The Best Overall, The Song Writing Team Of Lennon and McCartney And the author of this article Gillian Gaar says what I have always said and pointed out, that as early as December 1963 music critic of The London Times William Mann called John Lennon and Paul McCartney the outstanding English composers of 1963 and he analyzed and praised the clever, unusual complex chords they wrote even in their early songs like She Loves you etc. And In this article it also says that in December 1963 in the same issue the the classical music critic of The London Times ( Hunter Davies says in his great 1968 only authorized Beatles biography called, The Beatles which he updated several times that it was classical music critic Richard Buckle) who called John and Paul the 2 greatest composers since Beethoven after they composed music for a ballet ,Mods and Rockers. Gillian Garr also says what I have always said, that John Lennon and Paul McCartney wrote songs at such a prodigious rate in 1963 and 1964 that they supplied numerous other artists with hit songs as well as looking after the interests of their own group. He doesn't mention the music artists they wrote for in 1963,Billy J.Kramer and The Dakotas, Celia Black,Peter and Gordon and the rock n roll song I Wanna Be Your Man for The Rolling Stones which became one of their first hits. From Me To You,and especially She Loves You and I Want To Hold Your Hand were praised by some music critics even from the beginning, like William Mann of The London Times in December 1963 pointed out their interesting unusual chords and arrangements and London Times music critic Richard Buckle also in late 1963 called John and Paul the greatest composers since Beethoven after they wrote the music for a play Mods and Rockers. Roger also has said that The Beatles unusually used folk rock chords in their rock n roll music and that they invented folk rock without even realizing it. In an article about The Beatles chords,Bob Dylan is quoted saying what he thought in early 1964 about The early Beatles music,he said that they were doing things nobody was doing and that their chords were outrageous, just outrageous and their harmonies made it all valid. In Rolling Stone Magazine's 100 Greatest Song Writers Bob Dylan is number 1,Paul McCartney is number 2, and John Lennon is number 3, Bob Dylan is quoted about a car trip when he heard a lot of Beatles songs on the radio, he said they were doing things that nobody else was doing musically and that he knew they were pointing the direction where music had to go.

Ringo Starr rightfully said on March 25,2003,on MTV's TRL show The Beatles were not a boy band like today's male Pop Groups NYSNC, and The Backstreet Boys etc. He said besides the Beatlemania they were very different from them and that once John and Paul started to write their own songs, ( which they were doing very early even when they were teenagers which was very unusual in the 1950's and early 1960's because even most famous successful *adult* rock and roll bands and solo acts had professional song writers writing for them) and then George too, it became that the song was what was important not our dancing. Obviously he was referring to the fact that these boy bands are not song writers or musicians they just sing and dance. Ringo really needs to be debunking this now too because so many people ignorantly compare The Beatles to the genuine boy band One Direction and BTS etc. And The Beatles weren't writing their own songs with complex inventive chords arrangements with beautiful melodies and harmonies even in 1962 and 1963 and writing hit songs for other music artists as early as 1963 just as their own song writing success was getting off the ground, and played live for 1000's of hours for years working their a**es off to get Beatlemania hysteria drowning out their great very talented song writing, singing and musicianship! And they didn't ask for this or know they were going to get it either. They were also mobbed everywhere and trapped in hotel rooms and they just loved rock and roll music and writing and playing it and they just wanted to become successful like any other rock bands,

There also are so many countless famous, successful rock musicians such as Gene Simmons of Kiss, Tom Petty, Richie Sambora who was only 5 years old when he saw The Beatles on Ed Sullivan said they thought they were really great and that they motivated them to become musicians. This was 5 months before I was even conceived. But I have been a huge Beatles fan since I was a child, I saw The Beatles on The Ed Sulivian show in 1974 10 years later when I was 9 after Ed died they had a Tv special showing all of the big acts he had on his shows. I started collecting Beatles albums when I was 9, The Beatles Second album was my first. I got my first Beatles book for my 11th birthday and I had every Beatles album by age 13. There is also a recent article from The Detroit Free Press about rock photographer Tom Weschler who became a big Beatles fan at age 15 and they inspired him to become a rock photographer after he took many pictures of The Beatles on The Ed Sulivan show from his TV February 9, 1964. And another recent article from The Columbia Daily Tribune by Roger MicKinney called, The Beatles Appeared On Ed Sullivan 60 Years Ago And Music Changed And he accurately calls them a rock band then.. And it quotes musician Dennis Hodo who at 13 years old watched The Beatles on Ed Sullivan with his mom and two brothers. And he said it was life changing and he said within a short time he and his brothers had guitars and drums. And he said that The Beatles were just having fun and making great music and he said it was the first time in his life that he was struck by something. He said he saw The Beatles in concert in 1966 with a car full of friends and his brothers. Political science professor at Columbia College Terry Smith said that when he was college student when The Beatles became big in the U.S. someone from his dorm told him that he had to hear this record, Meet The Beatles their first U.S. album, and he said he knew he never heard anything like it. And then he saw them on The Ed Sulivan show and he said that it was really kind of fun, the irreverent cheeky group that was taking the world by storm and he said that it was fun and they were their music was really good. University Of Missouri music professor Peter Zambito rightly said The Beatles from Liverpool England gained skills during long hours performing in Hamburg Germany

I invented a word play a long time ago that effectively links 2 huge (boy)bands fatefully in history that I have not seen anyone else make that connection before. I have made written this wordplay for years all over youtube & again I have never seen any other commenter, reactor, or journalist make this wordplay, so I am pretty sure I started it. You will notice how creepy the word play is because it is highly possible that they were indeed tied by fate, destiny & even divine providence. You will also notice how all the letters line up symmetrically. Here it is... Beatles + BTS = B e a T l e S See how eerie that is? The fact, as said in the video, that no other band in history have matched the world record of having 3 #1 albums in a year with the Beatles until BTS achieved it nearly 6 decades later is one strong reason this word play works. Yes, it took ~6 decades. Plus the fact that, as a Beatles fan first, when I first heard of BTS & all the screaming & crying female BTS fans, it IMMEDIATELY made me think of the screaming, fainting, crying female fans of the Beatles. It is not a cliche or stereotype of that type of female fan, that is an observed fact. It still happens to this day. Screaming crying girls has happened to other all-male bands of course, but the Beatles era were famously known for it, apart from Sinatra & Elvis before them when they were idols with screaming fans in their young heydays. One other distinction I have to make is that the Beatles became famous in a world & time when there were no personal computers, Internet & social media, yet. Yes, I also watched the Monkees. A fun group & sitcom. But not the New Monkees, 2 decades later, they flopped, heh. Sometimes it's not better to do a reboot. Sadly there is only member left alive of the original Monkees. By the way, it's not the BIG 3 anymore when it comes to the oligopoly in KPop. It's now the BIG 4, with Hybe (BigHit) Corporation actually overtaking the original Big 3 in profits, combined. Personally, I don't call it the Big 4, I would rather call it the BIG ONE, because Hybe is aquisitioning & merging with western labels as well, getting bigger & bigger than the original three labels. Hybe also almost merged with SM Entertainment by nearly taking over about 40% stake & stock value, but decided to concede per request. I hope you can also react to some of Seo Taiji, as mentioned in the video. Considered the Father of KPop, he is very instrumental in sparking the invention of the KPop industry. If you like rock & metal music, then you can try Seo Taiji.

And even the early Beatles songs like She Loves You,I Saw Her Standing There,You Can't Do That,Can't Buy Me Love etc sound like hard rock compared to what was on the radio in 1963 and early 1964 such as Bobby Vinton,The Four Seasons,Bobby Darren and The Beach Boys teen beach surfing hits.I know this even though I wasn't even born yet.

There is also very good London Times review of the remastered The Beatles Live at The Hollywood Bowl album says it’s remarkable that The Beatles played as well as they did given that they couldn’t hear a thing beyond the screaming of 17,500 teenage girls. They should have also mentioned the poor very primitive and limited sound systems of the time and no feedback monitors so they also couldn’t hear themselves singing and playing but they amazingly sang and played great and in sync with each other anyway. It rightly says that they were a lean and vibrant rock n roll band honed to perfection after toughing it out with five sets a night in rough Hamburg nightclubs. There is also a great review of The Beatles Live At The Hollywood Bowl album by the founder and editor of the site Classic Rock History Brian Kay and he says it shows what fantastic even live musicians they really were.

University of Pennsylvania ( 1 of the top ivy league universities in the US) graduate musicologist Alan W.Pollack who did an 11 year extensive analysis called,Notes On Series of every one of the 200 Beatles songs, analyzes the 1962 John Lennon song I always loved, Ask Me Why and explains that it's structurally complex. In Alan's analysis of Paul McCartney's 1963 very good song All My Loving and he describes it as having a lot of complex chords and other unusual musical things. Many people have pointed out on music and Beatles fan site forums that John Lennon played great, difficult fast rhythm guitar triplets, well it turns out John( and George and Paul on bass) was playing a whole bunch of complex chords this fast and great! So is Paul McCartney's 1962 song P.S. I Love You There is an interview with University of Pennsylvania graduate musicologist Alan Pollack who did an 11 year study of all 200 Beatles songs, here he says The Beatles specifically John and Paul wrote what he calls chord anomalies which are very clever complex unusual including in their early music, and he said about these chord anomalies in their early music that people tend to underrate the first half of their catalog in this respect.

And on my Pinterest board I have the many online pictures of Buddy Holly and The Crickets, The Shadows, The Rolling Stones in 1963 and 1964, the rock and roll blues band Eric Burden And The Animals in 1964 and The Moody Blues in 1964 and 1965 all wearing matching suits and ties with similar hair cuts and The Moody Blues wore their matching suits and ties until 1967 a year after The Beatles stopped. Because back in the 1950's and early 1960's it was common for rock and roll bands to be wearing matching suits and ties to get much better professional live playing jobs. But by the late 1960's nobody had to do this anymore because everyone were hippies now. And the early Beatles hair styles were actually very long in 1963 and 1964 because most men had army crew cuts and were almost bald! And one of the many all too common myths is that Brian Epstein created The early Beatles hair cuts. But it was Jurgen Vollmer who cut their hair that way almost a year before they even met their manager Brian Epstein and Jurgen was one of the first of three intellectual Beatles fans and friends of theirs, they met who would go and see them playing live in the sleazy clubs in Hamburg Germany when they were playing 8 hours a night from 1960-1962 and they had to take speed pills to stay awake to do it. Jurgen had worn his hair that way since he was a teenager. And The Beatles also played live at their local Cavern club in Liverpool for several years too and by the time they wrote, recorded and played live their first (great) album Please Please Me playing it live in amazingly only one day in February 1963, they already had 1000's of hours of live playing experience. And then they played live all around the world from 1963-1966.

Here are many great reviews of The early Beatles albums by Brian Passey for USA Today's The Spectrum music page and here in his review of The Beatles first album Please Please Me , The Beatles Debut Album Was Just The Beginning he says the album was the beginning of something special, and says actually it wasn't just special it was monumental, it was the biggest thing to happen to rock n roll since it's invention a few years earlier. He then says, it was the beginning of the greatest band in history of not just rock n roll but of popular music. The Beatles Debut Album With The Beatles Reveals Legends In The Making The Beatles Invade With a Hard Day's Night The Beatles Changed The Face Of Rock Music With Help Exhausted Beatles Still Shine on Beatles For Sale Brian rightly says that part of what established The Beatles as the greatest rock n roll band of all time, was the prolific nature of their early work.

There are Many articles very rightly calling The Monkees the world's first or original manufactured boy band. This June 2000 NY Daily News Article Is Called,Monk-eeing Around With The First Boy Band In a New York Daily News article by Richard Huff which is about the then June 2000 VH1 movie about the Monkees, DayDream Believers:The Monkees Story he says the fact is The Monkees were arguably the first boy band long before anyone had actually coined the term,he then said the group started as a premise for a 60's television sitcom built around a Pre-Fab Four meant to pick up where Richard Lester's two Beatles films -Help! in particular left off. He says later in the article that The Monkees were The Back Street Boys before any of the current Back Street Boys were born. He also quotes VH1's vice president of motion pictures Michael Larkin who says this film depicts them as they really were, the first boy band. April 2019 Naples News article, Hey, hey It's A Monkee :Micky Dolenz Talks Early Years Of Original Boy Band The author Bill Lamb of this May 2019 article The Top Monkees Songs, Best Of The Pioneer Boy Band rightly says, The Monkees were the first boy band put together through auditions to take over the top of the Billboard pop charts. He then rightly says they were a boy model for countless boy bands to come over the next decades. The Monkees - "I'm a Believer". Courtesy RCA "I'm a Believer" was written by Neil Diamond. He originally recorded the song himself, but when the Monkees released it as the first single from their More Of the Monkees album in November 1966, it quickly went to #1."I'm a Believer" remained at #1 for seven weeks and was the bestselling record of the year for 1967 There used to be a great January 2002 Toronto Star article that unfortunately isn't online anymore and quotes from Micky Dolenz of The Monkees, The Monkees: The Original Boy Band? It compares them to The Back Street Boys, and New Kids On The Block and it says before them there was The Monkees and Micky Dolenz says The origin of the term boy band came from those only male vocal groups who wrote no music and a played no instruments and were manufactured, and The Monkees were hired as actors who didn't even know each other by TV auditions to play a fictional genuine rock and roll band . The Monkees didn't even play any instruments on their first several albums because their TV producer didn't allow them to even though Peter Tork and Mike Nesmith were musicians, and even though Mike Nesmith wrote some good songs, all of their big best known hit songs were written by professional song writers such as Carole King, Bobby Hart, and Neil Diamond etc. Thankfully there is no ludicrous mention of The Beatles in this article. Hey, Hey It's The First Boy Band March 31,2001 by John Kelly This article from July 2001 says The Monkees are considered the Godfather of today's boy bands. Here They Come (again) The Monkees Return to TV in Documentary, Film June 27, 2000 article about the VH1 movie, Daydream Believers: The Monkees Story also rightly describes them as the original version of the manufactured boy band, The Monkees were Davy Jones,Mickey Dolenz,Mike Nesmith and Peter Tork. In a UK May 2016 interview by Keven Cooper with Peter Tork of The Monkees, he's asked by the interviewer, Looking Back How Does It Feel When You Realize That You Were A Part Of The World's Very First Boy Band? In a May 2016 interview with Peter Tork in Florida Today, the interviewer Mike Nunez asks him, As one of the first bands to be branded through TV shows, merchandising and more, do you ever think of yourselves as the original boyband? And Peter laughs and says he's been asked that before. He then says it never really occurred to him spontaneously, but depending on how you define a boy band, he says I guess so on some level. Interestingly one of The Monkees TV show producers Bob Rafelson said yearslater that he didn't base The Monkees show on The Beatles movies A Hard Day's Night and Help! and he said that he had the idea for the show back in 1962 based on his own experiences being in a rock and roll band and the crazy experiences they went through trying to make it big. There is a recent September 2023 article by Dick Preston from the CBS KRCG site rightly calling The Monkees the first manufactured boy band. And he mentions what Bob Rafelson said too and he said that's what he said but nobody believed him. On this date in 1965, 437 young men showed up at an audition to be part of the world's first "manufactured" boy band. It was to be a foursome who acted zany but And I wouldn't even put The Monkees on the same level as all of those other famous boy bands,NSYNC , The Backstreet Boys, Boys, New Kids On The Block, One Direction and BTS. Because even The Monkees were more talented and cooler than them. But they really are the ones that are closest to these boy bands but The Beatles were NOTHING like them though. Yet you don't hear many people constantly calling The Monkees The Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, New Kids On The Block, One Direction, BTS or any other manufactured uncool, non song writing ,non musicians boy band, of the 1960's.Many young people ignorantly wrongly calling The Beatles this I'm sure never even heard of The Monkees. There was young guy ignorantly ridiculously calling The Beatles the first boy band, on a Facebook discussion back in 2018, and there were other ignorant people saying this to. So many sensible knowledgeable people told them The Monkees really were not The Beatles. So this guy asked them who do they think the first boy band was and many told him The Monkees and he never even heard of them and obviously didn't even know who they were, and he said to them why do you say monkeys, he spelled it like the animal that lives in jungles and zoos.

Mas enfim somos apenas latinos , então quem somos nós pra poder afirmar que esse formato de boy band com rapazes que apenas cantavam e faziam coreografias sem tocar instrumentos musicais na verdade foi criado por um grupo latino-americano chamado menudo ?

@@jessicapierce3027 Sorry but I've no idea who Jonas Bros or Hanson are. I'm not American I understand they are American but that's it. Not that I've ever been into 'Boy Bands'. As far as I'm concerned Boy Bands are different from bands that play instruments as part of the band. Like U2 or Coldplay, Queen, The Cure, Spanduau Ballet who are not 'boy band' but Bands. The Beatles were never really not a 'Boy Band'. The only reason they got called that by certain media outlets was because they had a huge female following to start with.

@eileencritchley4630 But that's my point, the one thing all boy bands have in common is a majority female fanbase. None of it makes sense, because why to people consider the Beatles a boy band and not the Rolling Stones, or they consider 5 seconds of Summer a boy bad, but not Sum 41. They are all groups that play their own instruments, but they get labeled differently because it really all depends on how "swoon worthy" they are.

@@jessicapierce3027 Is that right? Well then The early Rolling Stones ,The early Who and The Beach Boys etc who had screaming teenage girl fans at their early concerts were all boy bands too! In an online August 1971 Rolling Stone Magazine interview with Keith Richards and he said that in the beginning The Rolling Stones had hysterical female fans chasing him down the street trying to rip his clothes off like The early Beatles did and he would say to them, What do you want? He also said they had screaming teenage girls at their early concerts and that there were no monitors back then. He also said that The Beatles are so ******* good at what they did, it's a shame they broke up in such a tatty way. There are many pictures online of teen girls screaming at early Rolling Stones concerts in 1964, 1965 and 1966. And also many online pictures of The Rolling Stones on the covers and inside of teen magazines in 1964,1965,1966 and even two in 1967. Some of these teen magazines have both The Beatles and The Rolling Stones on the covers and inside of them together. Mick Jagger was on the cover twice on the cover of the then leading teen newspaper KYA in 1965 and the December issue says he talks about how his Christmas was ruined. I have all of these pictures on my blog and Pinterest board too. There is also an online 2019 interview on a site called Nola with two women friends who saw The Rolling Stones in 1966 in Houston when one was 15 almost 16, and the other was 16. And one of them said how cute she thought Keith Richards was back then. And one of their mother's gave them smelling salt so they wouldn't faint. There also used to be an online 2007 interview with Roger Daltry of The Who and he was asked if they had screaming teen girls at their early concerts, and he said after their song Can't Explain came out they did. He said it was the era of the screaming teenage girls and every band had them on their way up but he said the trouble is, is you start to depend on how much they scream which is why The Beatles gave up playing live. And the live sound systems were very limited and primitive and feedback monitors hadn't even been invented yet.

@@eileencritchley4630 You very rightly meant that The Beatles spelled with one letter a with a letter e, were *NEVER* a typical manufactured non musicians, non song writing stupid, uncool, talentless boy band! They were a self made hard working great song writing, great singing, great musicians *rock and roll band*! On the Reddit Beatles fan community, a member,UnderDogPants so rightly said in the discussion of debunking the stupid ridiculous nonsense myth calling The Beatles a ''boy band'', He said, They were an early rock and roll band.Their influences were Buddy Holly,Chuck Berry,Little Richard and Elvis. They developed naturally and were all childhood friends. They crafted their sound by playing thousands of hours over multiple years before becoming famous. People use the term boy band wrongly when referring to them. They were literally boys when they started out and he says in parenthesis (as are many bands) but that's where the similarities end.Yes they appealed to girls. But they also appealed to guys. It was always about the music, and the raw sex appeal of four great looking musicians on stage in black leather and said in parenthesis ( and later tailored suits) singing and playing their hearts out was just too da*n intoxicating. Remember, it has always been said that women wanted the Beatles and men wanted to BE The Beatles. Their appeal was much different from what a boy band offers. He then said I know I was there.

Agree. Honestly even with BTS, I still couldn't publicly say I am Army because they will assume BTS is the same like all kpop groups and still a part of kpop. The perception of kpop being cringe and shallow music in my country is so damn strong. I think that's also the reason why some Armys don't want BTS to be in the kpop category because they are more than that.

Never heard of them but I was never into Boy bands. Yes the Beastie Boys were different and I liked some of their stuff, but couldn't stand Boy bands they were cornie and lyric's and sound didn't sit with me and the non UK one's I'd not even heard of. How are these tactic boy bands formed by Disney?

Ug, rice squad, each time I watch their videos I'm more annoyed. The way he emphasizes certain words is cringe, and he completely recycled the BTS portion of the video, and he renamed his channel rice squad.

This is totally wrong and when true Beatles fans rightly try to debunk and correct this sadly all too common stupid ,ludicrous myth, then it's that we must be denying it! From Rate Your Music Definition Of A Boy Band, A Male Vocal Group Often Put Together By Talent Managers Or Record Producers And Typically Don't Write Their Own Music Or Play Any Instruments. Boy Band Music Genres Rate Your Music A boy band is a type of male vocal group often put together by talent managers or record producers. The members are generally expected to perform highly choreographed dance sequences during their shows and music videos, and to have an attractive appearance. A typical boy band features three or four members who sing R&B influenced music but do not play instruments or write their own music. This style began in the 1980's with groups such as New Kids on The Block and New Edition achieving commercial success in the United States and it has gone through periods of popularity in various countries ever since. It's no coincidence that this is exactly what all of these famous boy bands are and only have ever been ,they all started off as these geeky teenage boys manufactured by a TV or music producer ,and many continue into their 20's,they never wrote or played a note of music. And the only reason they are manufactured is so teen girls will scream for them, because they don't have any music talent as musicians and song writers so there is nothing to drown out and to lose! Thankfully The Beatles aren't in here and The Beatles genres are described as Pop Rock,Mersey Beat,Psychedelic Pop,Rock & Roll, Rock and Folk and even hard rock Pop The list of The Beatles genres is even longer in their list of Top 1000 greatest Rock Artists where The Beatles are # 1 And The Beatles are one only a few music artists that wrote and played that many different kinds of music, and the only ones that did it in just an amazing 8 year recording career. They are also # 1 on Rate Your Music Top Artists out over 5,000. Last FM's 18 Pages Of Boy Bands Thankfully The Beatles Aren't On It! They describe most of them as vocal groups and I never even heard of most of these boy bands because I don’t like boy bands and I have no interest in them and I’ve never owned any boy band garbage! I own and love all of the Beatles great music including their early albums too though.

The Beatles have no place in a boy band history, because they were never one of these mostly banal boy bands in today's sense. The Beatles were an organically grown group that spent years learning the craft of professional musicians in dark clubs and basements before the Big Bang, Beatlemania, and all other historical aspects of their career. It's true, that later groups actually adopted some of the key points of the Beatles, such as the special character traits of the band members, but while this was already present in the Beatles, this is very often artificially put together in boy bands. And musically, there is no boy band, that has ever produced anything innovative or remarkably creative. Apart from maybe a few dance steps. BTS, as an exception, were able to transport Asian mentality to the American and, to a lesser extent, to the European region.

I don't understand this perspective. The Beatles is a boy band. Did they operate or begin in a way that's different compared to most others? Yes. That doesn't stop them from being a boy band. They just happen to be the cream of the crop among the rest. There will always be artists who stand out in their genre, who are the most revered and innovative or considered the most talented or influential. That simply means they were some of the best but to remove them from the discussion only makes the story of the genre or category incomplete. Often times genres start off with innovative trailblazers then fizzle out into cookie cutter stuff. Erasing the trailblazers because those who came after were lackluster doesn't make sense to me. We wouldn't say "Michael Jackson isnt a pop soloist" because 95% of pop soloists who came after sing cookie cutter, formulaic, insubstantial lyrics. It's like people who say BTS isn't kpop or isn't a boy band just because of the ways they do it better. Keeping everyone who qualifies as part of the discussion is how we maintain the different stages of a thing. It's also how we can have new artists trying to bring fresh new takes and supersede what's popular at the moment. You don't leave room for improvement and innovation if you go in deciding that all boy bands need to be mediocre and if they're not then they're not boy bands. Then there's no room for growth or change.

@@ZariDV The term "boy band" (or girl band) tends to be an insult and reduces the groups to being "boys". No one would describe the Rolling Stones as a "boy band", or Pink Floyd etc. The Beatles were always highly professional musicians, a rock ('n' roll) band, the excitement surrounding the group today sometimes seems to be misinterpreted as simple enthusiasm (which applies to normal "boy bands"), while "Beatlemania" and everything, that came about directly or indirectly with it, however, developed in many parts of the world as a social phenomenon and in favor of a new relationship between the young and the old at the time for the benefit of the young people.

The Beach Boys were mostly a pop band I have never heard anything rocking from them. Even fans of theirs mention how their 1976 cover (when recording technology was better than in 1964 when The Beatles recorded their version) have said how un rocking and slow their version is, The Beatles version is fast and rocking which is fitting for the name of the song. And even the early Beatles songs like She Loves You, I Saw Her Standing There, You Can't Do That, Can't Buy Me Love etc. sound like hard rock compared to what was on the radio in 1963 and early 1964 such as Bobby Vinton, The Four Seasons, Bobby Darren and The Beach Boys teen beach surfing hits. I know this even though I wasn't even born yet.
