I wish Dylan O'Brien would make more movies like this, he is so good at conveying heavy-hitting emotion.

My favorite part is towards the end where Aubrey has the heart to heart with her parents… that just gets to me since most kids don’t open that much anymore without big prodding from their parents

I really liked this movie, and feel as though it's really slept on. Dave and Aubrey are likable characters, and the film did a superb job of exploring relationships between families, friends and navigating your first sexual experience, and how it might not live up to your expectations.

High schoolers in their thirties a classic

I remember I loved this movie so much as a teenager I wrote an extended version and uploaded it to Wattpad. Good times.

The first twenty minutes or so felt a little like a stage play, since it's just limited to Dave and Aubrey, the two protagonists, discussing their dreams and plans with each other. We really get to know them a lot before the narrative starts including more locations and supporting characters.

I know in this movie, Robbie or Ronnie, whatever was his name, is shown as an anti hero or laying-off guy, but if we really concentrate on his lines in the movie, then you will understand that he spoke every word from his mouth as an utter fact of this world. Example, High schoolers are immature, he can be seen as that time's ANDREW TATE😂
