TWO STADIUMS in one day . . . sort of (Chicago & Milwaukee)

What happens when it rains in Chicago and Mike Trout isn't playing against the White Sox? You haul ass to Milwaukee and go watch the Cubs and Brewers instead.
People often ask me to do more vlog-style road trip videos, so here we go -- this one has everything rolled into one. We started at Guaranteed Rate Field and ended up at Miller Park with a whole bunch of fun stuff in between.
How late did I arrive in Milwaukee? Did I manage to catch any baseballs? What did I do to get filmed on on the jumbotron? Don't miss it.

We did something similar. We flew into Chicago from Boston and went to Brewers vs Red Sox in MKE in the afternoon and then to Wrigley to see the Cubs vs Yankees for an evening game. My Red Sox won and the Cubs beat the Yankees. It was a good day. Fast forward 18 years and now I actually live in Milwaukee. Go Brewers(unless they are playing the Red Sox)! Good video, Zack.

AJjolly2 I can attest to that. Imagine being a 7 year old kid, now that was universal changing stepping foot into that ballpark. I grew up there, sort of. I mean I grew up down the street from Lambeau Field in GB so I guess I really grew up there.

Zack, i actually did this in the year 2000, day game on the south side, night game in Milwaukee, every pitch, both games. It’s totally doable. Also did Petco and Angel Stadium in the same day once. Russell needs a baseball to the face.

Hey Zack, here in Southern California, every few years, when the schedules align, you can see two games in two stadiums in the same day. When the Dodgers play on the road in San Diego the Angels are usually home. As long as one of those games is a day game and the other is a night game, you just need to make the 90 minute drive between Anaheim and San Diego after the early game. I've done it a few times. This year in September Dodgers played a 1pm game in SD and Houston played in Anaheim at 7. I bet that happens evey now and then in Chicago/Milwaukee too.

I was at the Brewers game that day. I pointed out to my wife exactly where you were pacing back and forth and told her how good of a spot that is for foul balls not even knowing you were at the game! Congrats on getting the ball at the end of the game!

WAY TO PIVOT! And I don't blame you for the strangeness compared to the normal experience. You also went to the best sausage stand. Next time, ask for the Beer Cheese Brat, and ask for it County Stadium style - Warm Secret Stadium Sauce & sauerkraut. It will take three months off your life expectancy, and it's worth it.

i've done a white sox game and a brewers game in the same day twice before. in 2015 saw oakland vs. the sox at 1 and cardinals brewers at 7 then the next year saw the rockies play milwaukee at 1 and the phillies play the sox at 7. its hard to make it for first pitch during the night cap given you're going right through rush hour but its still a unique and well worth it experience

A lot of Cubs fans at that Brewers game. It reminds me of when the Dodgers come to town at Petco Park, and all the Dodger fans invade the stadium, probably because Dodger Stadium is a dump compared to Petco.

Had a a lot of fun watching this video for one seeing the White Sox compared to the Brewers I’ll would have done the same thing if I could drive at least the Brewers give you your moneys worth. Second you should do more on the road videos you’re are a true New Yorker trying to drive to a destination and people blocking the way and you losing your patience that was hilarious 😂. Three that was cool you did the doubleheader I just wish the game would have started at 4:05pm for ya in that case you have would been more relax and less rush I have done the same thing and it sucks you missed the first couple of innings.

While I agree you definitely caught the better game at the better park, I probably would have just stayed there to see what rainy baseball in Chicago had to offer you. Sometimes the bad weather brings out the best baseball players in terms of kindness and quality time.
