This is why I love this community within KZfaq. I came back to this song for the first time in two years, and was stunned by how many people remembered that comment. It was truly beautiful.

our families dog passed away last year around November the twentieth. we had him since 2005. go rest high on those mountains in heaven old boy. we will miss, and cherish your memory.

My Grandfather fought in Vietnam and Op. Desert Shield he was one of the oldest volunteers.

The first 20 seconds are like the solitude you feel after letting go. But then solace appears to carry you and suddenly you are busy doing stuff but till 02:00 you always have the goodybye in mind. Then you let it go. You feel the future is ahead and brighter than the past and it´s worth exploring. 03:00 is the memory of the past that accompanies you along the way, like a good old friend, forward to an unknown future.

My dad fought in the Iraqi War 2003. When he said goodbye, I thought for sure he never came back. But when he came back home (with a grown mustache), I was happy that he survived. But I kinda wasn't happy when he shaved his stache off.

-And it was purely a masterpiece!

Remember the day you let me borrow your new car and I dented it? I thought you'd kill me, but you didn't. Remember that time I dragged you to the beach and it rained? I thought you'd yell at me, but you didn't. Remember when I flirted with all those guys to make you jealous? I thought you'd break up with me, but you didn't. There were a lot of things I did that I wanted to make up for when you came home from Iraq, but you didn't.

People, let's be better for each other. We can do it! It helps us to be more happy and have a good life. Trust me I started to be a little bit more kind for foes and friends and it really works :)

My dear friend, I wish you a safe journey where that may lead. I am so sorry that I haven't been there for you when you lost your sight and your hearing. When you just turned old so quickly and got ready for this day. It's a guilt a will carry with me. I should have been there for you as you have for me since the day I met you. You gave me so much joy and awesome moments. I truly enjoyed our friendship. I trusted you so much and I had the feeling that I could without a doubt. I hope you enjoyed our adventures as much as I have. You made them what they were - special. I was always so proud to have you by my side. I am honored to have had such a precious acquaintance . Thank you Eddi for being the best dog a person could know. I am very sad but I knew this moment would come some day and I was afraid of facing it. In a way I am thankful that I feel this sad because that is testimony that I truly cared and loved you. God speed you innocent and caring soul. May you rest in peace with all the branches and sticks you can find, all the food you love, chase all the squirrels you can and run all the mountains you can. Goodbye for now ! Your friend Alex ....
