There is one thing common in both of this companies that retailers holdings are more than its promoters, I may be wrong which means some one/some individuals are holding a huge sum of the shares of these 2 companies, if they want they can sell off when they make huge profit at any moment and the stock price may crash of the both companies.

I've tracked the water sector from last year. Compare to WABAG I think Ion exchange at better position from business point of view specially bcz of their chemical business. Some other proxy stocks related to water sector sector are- Jash Engineering, Welspoon Crop, EMS. I've invested in Ion exchange. Not buy or sell recommendations :)
