It is an apartment so I don't think that they should overspend on a place that's not theirs. They did an awesome job creating a home suitable to their taste on a budget 🎉🎉

I wonder how long the vinyl will stay put, especially in the kitchen & bathroom. It's so cheap to buy and perfect for young people to 'transform' a rented place. All in all, while it's not a renovation exactly, they still did a really good job.

Given what they had to work with, they did a fine job. I couldn't imagine having to live in a place where all of the sewer pipes and conduits are exposed. kudos to these girls

Помню,мы в 90-х при отсутсивии средств на ремонт,покупали самоклеющеюся пленку и ей обтягивали всё,что можно.Даже мебель,не говоря о стенах.И было свеженько.😊

I assume they have used sticky backed plastic everywhere so that when they leave they can peel it all off and hand back the property to the landlord in the original condition. Otherwise I would have thought it cheaper to paint than stick plastic on everything.

what bothers me is that this is purely cosmetic, putting things on top of the dirt instead of renovating the walls, ceramics, etc... So this is more "hidding it" than renovating properly ? (Of course doing it properly will cost a lot more, I know, and I guess better than nothing but I would be afraid to have humidity or issues after that, that the flat LOOKS great but not that good to live in... is it ? also natural bricks or wood would be beautiful.

It is probably their first apartment. They are young, not a big budget and landlord may have said he wouldn’t do any improvements. These girls used energy, imagination and ingenuity to spruce up the old, neglected place to their own liking. Let them enjoy it!

It's an old building that had no central heat when built. The owner had heat installed later, so the pipes are not in the walls. I live in a building like this and heat with split A/C units and a portable propane heater.

Думаю плесень под пленкой не будет разрастаться, конечно при условии, что будет сухо в помещении. А вообще уже не знаю чем уничтожить плесень? Клею дышащие обои.

Paint those pipes on the wall black it will look better you could have painted the radiator black too with some heat resistant paint instead of covering it with a blanket

It’s crazy how different countries do things. That apartment wouldn’t be up to safety codes in Canada, the landlord would be forced to renovate the entire building or face serious fines.

Great job girls!! Next time that you use self-stick paper over brick, just heat up the brick until it's nice and warm. The adhesive will last a long time. In the bathroom, the back wall is out of plumb just a little so that tile paper should help that. Awesome Job!!

Вроде отмывали, чистили всё, даже мне показалось красили. В итоге всё приклеено самоклейкой. На первый взгляд свежо, красиво, со вкусом. Но окна на балконе не потрудились помыть.

Chinese are very hard working and very much creative. These ladies did a phenomenal job well done!!! However, why do they have to do all these renovations, and it's a rental???? If anything, they should only decorate their home to their liking.

Mas não limparam nada, só colaram plástico por cima da sujeira. Isso não é uma reforma é um cenário, nada concreto, só papel por tudo, nada aí foi feito pra durar, logo estará pior doque antes, então seria melhor só lavar tudo bem e pintar, gastaria menos com plástico e duraria muito mais.

I would have bleached, primered, and painted. Rugs could cover the clean floor or an oilcloth type mat.

The only thing I didn't like was white paint on the beautiful cupboards. That mahogany polished wood was special. Pity the kids of today have no taste. Everything is bland mainly white.

If you don’t remove mold and dust off the walls and floors first the tiles won’t stick , the walls and floor need to be washed clean of dust and mold before painting or tiling
