I’m with you on appliances!! As long as they work, I care very little about the aesthetics of them. White fridge? Cool. Black dishwasher? Whatever. 🤷🏻♀️

I would have white appliances and a white kitchen over anything else. People say it shows dirt…good! I want to know where the dirt is so I can clean it. I don’t want to hide dirt! 😂

Those old school white appliances never break down. Keep them!

I love a white refrigerator! I don’t care.😅

Replaced all white appliances with stainless and I hate them. Every fingerprint, drip and smear is seen. When redo next, going back to all white for life.

Me, too! But she said/showed in another short that they weren’t solid wood and they were falling apart.

Where did you get the cabinets? Lowe’s? How do they come? What do I ask for? Can you do one at a time to same money?

Home depot, they come in a box, you have to assemble them. As for one at a time, it’s no, but not a hard no. You can’t really do one and at time because you need to remove all the old cabinets before attaching and linking cabinets to the wall/floor etc. you need the stability; plus cabinets don’t have tops! Your counter top usually provides a cover for the top of the cabinet . It would be very unusual, but technically you could do an individual cabinet, but only if you have stand alone units (eg; one single cabinet next to a sink), but most of the time you can’t do this because you need a piece of counter top to covered it. So unless you have a single cabinet and a single counter top piece, no you can’t do it one at a time. Also, another big reason not to replace one at a time, apart from it being mostly unfeasible, is batch models/styles. You run the risk of not being able to get the same cabinets! Also, it’s a messy project, you don’t want to keep making large messes, when you can make one large one and be done with it. And finally, buying in bulk (all units needed) usually gets a discount, a single cabinet is probably going to be more expensive. You can totally just go to Home Depot or Lowe’s and check things out and ask questions, it might give you a better idea of the process. Personally, I have done a lot of DIY, flooring, tiling, new frames and doors, drywall etc, and I wouldn’t rush into doing your own kitchen unless you have a lot of back up help from people who know what their doing, or have done it before. It can be done, but it’s a massive job, that does require person power, knowledge, skills, time and LOTS of tools!
