This calatrava is to die for. There is also an OEM strap manufacturer in Paris - they make straps for Patek, but you can buy them in any color, leather, with buckles - they make them specially for Patek. I wanted a green strap for my 5712G and they came recommended

When asking at the PP Salon Place Vendome, they give you this address (Rue Cambon) which is actually quite close to the PP Salon.

@@sc1 did you see the news - the Patek 5980 is gone - retired. I got this at the end of December and now poof, it’s gone forever. It means a new nautilus model will be released at Watches and Wonders I believe

One could also use the steal folding clasp of the 5935A for the 5212A …makes it more secure to take the watch on and off… and the calatrava cross gives it a nice touch.

Question - have you looked at the 5968A and the 5164R? Which aquanaut would you get and why? If you had a choice of the two

I think the 5968A looks better of the two. More sports casual. But I haven’t convinced myself since it is too big for my wrist. I’m hoping a Nautilus would fit me better.

@@sc1 yeah, 5968 is 42.2 mm. I tried it - kinda big. 5164 is 40.8mm, very wearable. Nauti is 40.5 - perfection😊
