I love your idea! I store my toner foil sheets that way in a mini binder. When I renovated my craftroom I put my Glimmer rolls onto the acrylic tiers. One tip for those who use the tiers…I hot glued dowels to hold the rolls in place & I used this mesh for cone threads to keep them “closed”/unraveling.

Since it was me that sent in the request for the intel on how you store and manage your hot foil, please accept my thanks for the awesomely informative video! Once I spied you using the storage pockets I started experimenting. I'm keeping A2 pre-cut foil and scraps in pockets. I also still keep rolls of foil since cutting 15 yards of foil to A2 sized panels got a little old and sometimes I do need a longer length. Like you, I have a tiered cosmetic & nail polish organizer for the foil rolls. I like to secure the foil rolls with baby/toddler sized seamless soft hair bands. That size is about 1 inch in diameter. They fit securely on the roll but are just large enough to not damage the foil getting them on. For me, I'll be using both methods! I simply store the storage packets behind my plastic organizer holding the foil rolls.

I store them in storage pockets too! But using the paper trimmer is a great idea that I will be using in the future. Mind blown 🤯🤯🤯!

I use the pockets as well. I got the tip from you in a prior video, so thanks! I cut at 4", 6", and 8" and use a larger pocket to accommodate sentiments, card fronts, and slimline sizes. I don't have the space for all the rolls especially because you get a new one with the kits. They're like bunnies and multiply quick!

I just started hot foiling and was trying to think of storage options so this video was super helpful! I think the pockets will be most efficient in my craft room and help keep my cat from trying to get the rolls! Thanks so much!!

I am in the process of a craft room, organization, nightmare! 😆I recently moved into a new home, and I have the opportunity to organize and purge my things. I was having a difficult time figuring out how to store the rolls. I found a temporary solution, keeping them rolled up, but didn’t necessarily like it. This video came at the perfect time! I will be cutting my sheets down and storing them in stamp pockets. Much better solution, takes up less room, and will work out perfectly. Thank you, Clarissa

What a wonderful idea! Now I have another project, however, I’m going to take it one step further and add a “cover” sheet of the white cardstock to the front of the foil panels so when I slide them in the pockets, the foil sheets won’t slip and slide so much (hopefully). Once I have the foil inside the pockets, I can remove the “cover” sheet so I can see the color of the foil.

Ooo, I'm going to try this! I am reorganizing my craft room and foil rolls are driving me crazy! I have cats and have lots of fur flying about, so I don't want to leave foil out in the open so it doesn't collect dust bunnies. Thanks for the tips!

I have tried this a couple of times and while I loved your idea of using cardstock to help get them into the envelopes, I still find that it is like herding cats. I think I am going to try a binder with page holders and if that doesn't work, I am going to try larger pockets!

I am going to use the pocket system. I don't have much surface space for the stand, plus unless you keep the rolls in the box, I think it would attract too much dust as they're staticky and so delicate I would be concerned with potential scratching.

Love both ideas. I have the same acrylic tiered shelf and have been using it to display my ink cubes in the 4 pack families for classes and easy access. If I used another shelf I’d store the boxes only as I get a lot of dust and not store the rolls. I think I’ll try 6:04 the pocket method with some of my rolls I have that came without the boxes.
