The war in Ukraine has entered what Ukrainian Chief of Defense Valery Zaluzhny has called a "positional" phase, with neither side able to make meaningful offensive progress.
Join FPRI's Rob Lee and Bob Hamilton as they discuss how the war reached this point and where it may go from here. This event will trace the changes in Ukrainian and Russian strategies over the course of the war, and how each side defines victory now. Will Russia win by outlasting not Kyiv but its Western backers? Can Western aid deliver a Ukrainian victory, and if so, how? Is there a technological breakthrough on the horizon, which would change the military balance?
