Town of Salem is back today with another jester gameplay video. I've been trying to get unique wins with jester and this is a similar play here, but a quick pivot gets me claiming something I hadn't intended. A decent jester play anyway, we get to the late game and it's time to make our final play.

Well in Ranked it’s true ~~I was high ELO but I had bad luck always getting Mafia thirty to forty games straight, not even lying, and it crushed my ELO~~

@@Sammy-sv5uq I have yet to play ranked, but in my experience it all depends on how good you are and how good your teammates are, 'cause if your teammates are good/smart players then they should be able to carry out a win even if you die. I'm not, like, the *best* mafia player in the world, but still.

I was exe turned jest and I was attacked by mafia so I claimed doctor that self healed cuz if i claimed sheriff, jailor would have just exed me, I ended up faking doc so well I had a few townies trust me 😂

I feel like some people don't understand that the goal of jester is to get lynched by ANY MEANS NECESSARY. That may also include asking for pity or bargaining with town/evils. I am NOT saying that you should always pity jesters even if they don't deserve it, I'm just saying that you should not call a player bad for not making an awesome jest play and instead asking mafia or town to lynch you.

Pro tip: when someone gets lynched, you can click on their name in the player list to see their role immediately after they die. Waiting for the "[name]'s role was [town role]" message to show up and then claiming Exe is kind of a red flag that experienced players should pick up on. edit: Ofc you could do this when you actually are exe, in order to cause more chaos by making people think you're maf

“Bmer should never bm N1.” Actually, there’s a fairly new (few months old?) strat where you bm the D1 jailor claim, and if a LO posts their will to jailor, you just copy the will (with minor changes) and whisper it to the jailor.

But that's just a 1-for-1 at that point, and 1-for-1's are always in town's favour.

Abhinav Makam No, it isn’t really treated as a 1 for 1. I recommend watching Holly the Mayor’s video of it, titled: “New Blackmailer Strat” Just to be helpful so people know how it works.

Alif Haryadi Are you talking about the LO asking all the visitors for a LO will? That’s a really weird strat, it’s a bold enough strat to bm the tp lo claim, pretty rare. I doubt people will immediately think there’s a bmer, plus the bmer can claim TP if they want to.

I wouldn't count wins from outing yourself as jester. At that point it's winning as a jester claim.

In a game of vampire hunter, jailor, vampire, and me (the jester) left, I convinced them to hang me and I'd get the vampire. They actually went through with it, and I killed the vampire hunter and the jailor didn't have any exes left so they got turned and the vampires won. I felt bad for the vampires - they struggled all game.

A coven game,I was jester,d2 I claim LO and claim I saw a guy visit the person killed by PM,turned out it was CL,town doesn't realise I was false,make another play d4,claim seeing another person killed by Medusa visited by someone,get them lynched,turns out they were PM, town believed me to be LO the whole game until the end,at the last day Mayor revealed and lynched last coven and I was left alive.

My first jester game, I was the first to get lynched and killed the guy who called me out for being "Too Quiet" so I stayed like that and he was so mad cause he said that "In all his 2 years of playing the game, Not once has he died to Jester" So i was laughing my ass off and was so happy to die that game. I love this game so much and it's honestly a good pass time

A couple days ago I was in a game where I was sk and there was gf and jester left. So I was saying lets do a jest roulette so we voted up jester and then the gf abstained. Everyone got so mad at him afterward.

I can honestly imagine a setting where its WW, Vet, and Jest. The WW kills Vet, and Vet kills WW, leaving Jest alive. No one wins. I wonder what the victory screen would look like, because it always says "Werewolf win!" or "Town win!" or "Mafia win!" ect. ect. But if its a Jester as the only one alive... then no one wins. Chances of this happening: .000001%

I recently had an unexpectedly quick and easy Jester win in an All/Any match. Literally all I did was inno someone who everyone agreed to be guilty, and they put me up and lynched me the next day, 100% guilty or abstaining votes. :P

Dave's only chance of winning was if you killed WW. So he probably went for Vet expecting Vet to save alerts that night. That way if WW died too, he'd be last man standing and maf would win. I think he made the right call.

If a BMer bms town early everybody knows knows there is a blackmailer and will either guard their whispers (which all BMers can see), or just post publicly, which removes mafia's advantage of knowing whispers.
