BMC Teammachine SLR01 & Roadmachine Disc Review With Mr BMC Japan

Күн бұрынMy road bike has been in the shop for over a month now with some extensive repairs. This was a big problem for me because I was supposed to work as a rolling course marshal for a road race at the Morikoro Cycling Course.
I decided to call up my friend Zac from BMC Japan, who also happened to be working the same event with me, and asked if I could borrow a one of their test bikes for the event. And he kindly lent me one of their top-end bikes, the BMC teammachine SLR01 with regular shimano ultegra (just the way I like it).
You'll be seeing me ride this bike in a couple videos, and so I thought I'd do a proper introduction video of the full bike and it's components. Also, we'll be showing BMC Zac's Roadmachine disc, which has a beautiful red and green color combination.
This bike is extremely fast, and I've already taken one of my target KOMs with it on Strava (ironically one where Zac was ahead of me haha).
It's going to be hard to say goodbye to this bike, but it was fun while it lasted.. :)

I rode the slr01 disc three at promotional event. I prefer this over the Pinarello Dogma F12 that I rode the same day. I almost guarantee you will too.

I know Zac from the NHK World show Cycle Around Japan. I think he’s done a couple of episodes of that, maybe more. Cool guy.

Some people comment early from Patreon directly on the videos 🙂 Looks like we'll hopefully make 10k before the end of the year 😁 not sure about price, since this model usually comes with electric shifters instead of regular ultegra, but not cheap for sure!

Maybe in a month or so you could buy this bike at a special price as it is a tester tell your friend you would be interested to give BMC some free on line advertising ,

Thank you very much for your prompt reply. How did the SLR01-size 56 fit to you, and what is your height please? I'm 1.85 tall and I currently own a size-large Canyon endurace CF SLX. I'm thinking of buying the SLR01-disk, but I'm between sizes 56 and 58 :(

I'm 183cm, and the 56 fits perfectly. Sizing down to a 54 for my ALR actually, since I don't want to size up to 57
