I tried duck jibes today after getting bored with normal planing jibes on slalom gear. It kind of worked right away but I didn’t manage to keep planing. I think the one thing I did wrong was to throw the sail too far back, so most of the time I ended up with my sail awkwardly sheeted in. Thanks for the tip, tomorrow it will work! Btw, it seems to me that on a big slalom sail in gusty wind you can also be too fast for a duck jibe. When you are shooting downwind at like 50-60kph and you ride out of the gust, you get a headwind that makes ducking much harder… Feels more like a duck tack then
