The thing is TXT don't just make japanese versions of their pre-existing songs, they really create and bring stg new and original with a different essence, more nuance, a diverse meaning and interpretation

You’re not alone in loving some of their Japanese versions more than their Korean, they really do just be hitting different haha. 27:02 they’ve actually done quite a lot of OSTs (I’d be down for a marathon of those if you are!): - Everlasting Shine (Black Clover) - Force (World Trigger) - Your Light (Live On) - Love Sight (Doom At Your Service) - Eyes (Armored Saurus) - Free Falling (Star Seekers) - Ito (Spiral Labyrinth) - Ring (Heart Signal)

TXT’s lore is about escapism, therefore there’s a lot of fantasy elements and “multiple realities”. Basically anything they can imagine. But it’s why it’s so dark too, because escapism only exists if you want to escape from something. It’s this mix of extreme bright with darkness right around the corner. There’s video games, D&D, books, sci-fi. It has a lot of Alice in Wonderland and The Snow Queen elements too.

I’m loving all the txt marathons you’ve been doing recently - first the dance practices, then tiktoks, now this!!! I just really appreciate all the genuine love you show for these boys 💗 Looking forward to when you get around to doing their other jp tracks - particularly from a vocal perspective they are definitely some of my fav txt songs. Not sure if you’d be interested but I’d also love to see a txt cover marathon as they have some really amazing covers that I don’t think you’ve seen yet!

こんにちは！はじめまして。私は以前から貴方のチャンネルをとても楽しく拝見させていただいたTXTの大ファンです。外国人の方がこんな風に日本語の曲やMVを見ていたなんてととっても嬉しく思います。 TXTは日本でも大変人気があり、この間のK-KONもとても盛り上がり、さらにファンを増やしたように思える感じでした。特に「君じゃない誰かの愛し方 (Ring)」「ひとりの夜 (Hitori no Yoru)」「ITO」などバラード曲は本当に日本人の心に染みわたるステキな曲です。それにメンバー全員がイケメンで歌もダンスも上手なグループは、数いるボーイズグループの中でもそうそういないので、ホントにTXTはステキなグループだと私は思います。

I did comment when you reacted to mrs green apple marathon. For the song “force” was written by motoki ohmori. And an ost for anime world trigger season 2. The song is so difficult, you can tell their style while singing the song is like motoki, but txt killed it

TXT has upload their japanese songs performance in their channel. Mostly it is ITO, Blue Hour, Force, 0X1 Lovesong & Run Away. I think because the performance was online and they were not performing in person in Japan. Only Everlasting Shine hasn't been perform in any Japanese TV show

Hi, Mione! I'm pretty sure Everlasting Shine has been performed on Jpn TV at least once because I watched TXT perform this song somewhere before it was taken down by Japan's strict copyright laws.

The entirety of your, "Ooh! Shit! Let's go--horse?!" at 22:11 is honestly _maybe_ one of my favorite things you've ever said outside of your analysis and commentary on music. Japanese "LOVESONG" is the song that convinced me to give TXT a chance, and it is still my favorite track from them. 1000%. I agree with you.

Yeah watching the Love Song JP MV was like rediscovering the song...I'd suggest GBGB JP version also caused a similar reaction. Drama being a B-side in Korea but getting the title treatment with a MV totally elevated it too
