Beomgyu should have lines that underline their voices. I personally don't think they are utilizing his vocals correctly. He has a beautiful voice like the rest of them. they can use him as a highlighter or harmonizing his voice with theirs. There is so much they could do with this group and I hope in the next coming years they realize it. They all should be given the chance to shine alone and to shine together.

I wonder what the stats are for the screen time in the music videos and in other videos TXT controls like To-do and Weverse. My guess is the stats will vastly change. I don't think anyone is being undervalued. They are just using TXT's different strengths well. :) But hey, that is just my opinion.

I don't want anyone blame the other member here just bcs the 2 always get the least lines, taejunkai deserves their lines but soogyu doesn't deserve to always have least lines. But i recommend to all of you watch all their bts recording so you will see the reasons why it's always them.

Honestly this did not surprise me but i feel like a few interesting points can be made about how lines work - no one is surprised that taehyun has the most lines, but weirdly, most of his lines come from doing nearly all the back vocals in a song. If he didn't have that, i'd imagine he'd be somewhere in the middle of hueningkai and yeonjun as yeonjun not only works as a lead vocalist but also the main rapper -like i said yeonjun actually has the most "front lines", especially when it comes to title tracks or promoted songs. If the chorus is sung, he usually does rotations with huening and taehyun(so if one sings pre chorus, the other sings chorus, then they switch to another duo within the taehyun huening yeonjun trio for the second chorus) and if it's not sung, then he'll still get a few lines within the chorus here and there. This is understandable, he is the center and also the main dancer, but taehyun's spot as the one with the most lines is not the whole truth, although i would say he maintains his position as the main vocalist in most of the albums -what surprised me the most was seeing the divide between yeonjun and taehyun increase! i genuinely thought that the gap would lessen with the more recent comebacks(huening takes more of a center stage+ yeonjun is given a lot of lines in general) but it was the opposite, their gap was at some point down to around 200 seconds around lovesong era(at some point it was exactly 200 and their distributions increased the same amount so it was very satisfying to watch) but then we ended with nearly 500 seconds between them. We know that although beomgyu's lines are very little, he has been getting more and more alongside soobin and huening, and it does look like taehyun is not the only one taking the back vocals and harmonies, so why did this happen? Japanese songs and OSTs happened. Right after lovesong era, we start to have japanese songs which boosts taehyun and yeonjun's gaps to 300+, and we also start getting more and more osts. These two type of songs heavily favour taehyun(understandable). And although soobin, huening and beomgyu are more active during back vocals now, i don't think yeonjun's back vocals increased, and taehyun had very small decrease of backvocals, if any, meaning that nothing changed between them. It is again interesting to see soobin and huening switching places back and forth, but i think that soobin won't recover the 3rd place this time around. I dont see this as a loss, however, because i feel like i hear soobin's inclusion a lot more in the songs than before.

The problem with txt is they were made to market themselves as a group whose members had no fixed position other than the leader. At the beginning everyone was getting a fair share of the spotlight but recently it feels like there is an obvious centre/face of the group. When lines are being distributed it feels like the writer/producer sees this historically so each cb follows the same pattern. I can't see anything different happening now they're in their 6th year 😢
