The VMAs scrubbed MJ off their show as much as they could, even renaming the award initially named after him, but these guys were nominated for that very same award and did a WHOLE performance with Michael Jackson inspired dance moves, singing styles and adlibs! It was breathtaking to see such a homage. MJ fans were even talking about how at 3:03 (in the original video) Yeonjun's part reminded them of MJ. TXT were the only Korean artists that night to sing live the entire time, and one of the few artists. The stable vocals, amazing acrobatic choreography, their precision in following along with the smooth effects, like the water part in the intro and the dance break? Phenomenal. Anitta was a great addition to the collaboration too - the sensual bit caught me off guard I cannot lie. Everyone should support the song, it drops tomorrow!

They sing live with prerecorded voice on low volume just in case they mess up but who told ya'll stray kids lip sync like the dance break part they made the prerecorded part louder so they can dance and the ending they sang live again so idk what ur talking bout. I think just because they sing so well live u think their lip syncing but no they practice a lot to be stable with their voices while they're dancing all of jyp artist are very stable with their voice so NO THEY DON'T LIP SYNC

what a cute reaction! thank u for ur positive words and anticipation for the mv. we're all as excited as u are! txt doesn't stick with one genre so their discography is a whole roller coaster ride, but i personally like to recommend 0x1 lovesong, run away, dear sputnik, maze in the mirror, tinnitus, farewell neverland, opening sequence, lonely boy, and some original japanese tracks like hitori no yoru or hydrangea love. they have amazing songs, creative choreography, and wholesome personalities so i hope u check them out!

I have to hand it to TXT, they have VOCALS. They were a bit more bubble gum prior to their Sugar Rush Ride era, but I've definitely warmed up to them.

imp, txt is one of those groups that are really hard to find. you might not be obsessed with their discography but its actually so difficult to dislike one of their songs. they keep experimenting with different concepts showing a whole new side to them, so every song of theirs is whole new genre lmaoo

TXT had a rock vibe during the The Chaos Chapter albums (the album before Sugar Rush Ride) and before The Chaos Chapter came The Dream Chapter: Eternity. I think the bubblegum pop you were pertaining to was Blue Hour?

The only bubble gum pop eras I can think of was their debut with "Crown" and another comeback "Blue Hour". Before Sugar Rush Ride and after Blue Hour, they had emo rock eras with title tracks like "0x1=Lovesong" and "Loser=Lover". Afterwards, they had a bad boy era with "Good Boy Gone Bad". TXT is a group that experiments with different genres in every era, every comeback especially in their Bside tracks.

@@cloddiehoppers yeaa they’re bubble gum era was kinda from 2019-2020 like when the albums the dream chapter: star, minisode 1: blue hour and the dream chapter: magic. but those albums still had very different vibes. afterwards the dream chapter: eternity had more of a dreamy, mystical, kinda badass vibe to it. then during minisode 2: thursday’s child and the chaos chapter: FREEZE it was kind of a rock, emo-ish grunge era. finally for the name chapter: temptation it was literally like Peter Pan, magical, tempting mood. even though all their albums have a certain vibe, the songs feel so different from each other- and that’s what i love abt txt.
